I went in the other night to purchase a few household items toilet paper, paper towels, etc and to do a swipe and reload on a prepaid card that I use to make online purchases. The cashier Joseph was extremely nice and professional. His customer service skills were appropriate. This is where things went awry. He wasnt sure how to do the swipe and reload so he asked an associate who Ive seen several times on my visits to the store. The older AA woman wears her hair styled like the 1990s movie BAPS like Halle Berry if youve ever seen the movie if not Google it for reference. Her response to the young mans question was Reload what?"With an attitude. Not exactly what I expected as a customer but whatever, so I interjected A swipe and reload Master card. I dont know what about my response irritated her and I at that point was very nice but apparently it annoyed her because she blatantly screwed up her face and never acknowledged my response. So I then expressed my discontent with her behavior to the cashier and asked if a manager was on duty. Then the woman came over to the register and gave some bologna response about I needed some bar code to reload the card which wasnt true because this is something I do monthly yet she wasnt able to do so. I then called the corporate headquarters to complain. I spoke with someone in the contact center where I constructive expressed my dis satisfaction and she asked for the associates name. The woman with the bad attitude must have known what was going on so as soon as the rep on the phone asked for her name I walked up to the counter and I tell you the woman turned her back and took her name badge off. I couldnt make this up! So I asked Excuse me Miss may I have your name?" And guess what she ignored me again! I then said "I have the corporate headquarters on the phone and they want your name." So she then replied with her name which I am withholding for privacy reasons. She may not be professional but I am! So the rep advised that she would have the general or district manager whose name begins with a J contact me back and guess what that never happened either. So long story short I am so disgusted with this location I will NEVER patronize this business again! The sad thing is I love Dollar General but I can spend my hard earned cash at Family Dollar or Dollar Tree! They have the same stuff!

Theres not enough space to accurately describe how awful the customer service is at this location... So Ill give a short synopsis. 1. My then 3 year old was helping to unload our items onto the counter to be purchased. The store manager who was working the register also actually screamed at my daughter for putting the items on the right side of the counter as opposed to her preferred left hand side. The stupid is strong in this one. 2. Posted hours of operation 8-10 sun-sat. Both I and my husband have on many occasions went for a quick trip only to find the store closed early. Theyve locked their doors as early as 9:30 before. My most recent experience involved a different store manager who came to the door at 9:50 just to throw her hands up at me like I was out of line for trying to shop 10 minutes before closing. As I reminded her of the time, she yelled I dont care what you say, were closed, rolled her eyes and stormed off. 3. I was once confronted and yelled at for moving one of the many stocking carts that litter the narrow aisles of the store. Carts cannot pass with out knocking items off of the shelves. I tried repositioning the stocking cart just as the nasty store manager from description #1 was walking nearby. "How about you mind your own damn business", she yelled. So... To sum all of this up... Avoid this place unless being demeaned and belittled is your cup of tea.

I tried to get a job here I had a good rapport with the manager until I find out she was talking about me behind my back and the things she was saying could be detrimental to me getting a job and my character in general Im a single father who has joint custody of my son who was trying to get a job at this Dollar General and I dont appreciate a woman who doesnt know me or nothing about me talking behind my back saying defaming things about my character but smile in my face talk to my kid. I called corporate and formally complained he told me that action would be taken and to apply to the other store since then I have applied to 3 stores even had two interviews in one day one manager said she would hire me right then if she could, but other than the interviews I have not been offered a job at Dollar General and since then my applications have been reset or so Ive been told by a manager at a different store even though I called and checked every day

I shop at dollar generals a lot. I visit different ones. I usaly buy a soda and a cAndy bar or chips. This one was by far the worst. It was a messy store. There was over 15 people in line the the cashier was professional and polite and working as fast she could. She called for the manager to help her open another Lane but the manager never appeared. It was almost like she was working by herself. From the other reviews and my experience today I would say that this store had a bad management problem. I will personally not be going back to this one.

This store the manager has the worst customer service ever. She wasnt friendly at all. I only been there a handful of time and not had a good experience at all. The store is a mess.
