I received an email for I had bought. The first thing I noticed about the 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara was it was under priced from the NADA and Kelly Blue Book value. I got it for $15,700. NADA and Kelly Blue book both had the vehicle valued at about $19,000-$20,000. So I emailed Mr. Schofield and told him my particular situation. I had a 2008 Scion TC. NADA and Kelly Blue Book value for that vehicle was $11,500 in the condition it was in. I had no money down and was looking for a good interest rate. I honestly though I was going to get a response back that would be along the lines of "sorry, but we wont be able to get in your price range." I sent Mr. Schofield about 20 pictures of my Scion and did a credit application. Mr. Schofield was able to give me $12,600 for my vehicle and got a great interest rate. Not only did he get the vehicle in my target price range, but I also got a warranty and GAP insurance. While keeping it in my price range. Not to mention he lowered the price of the Jeep too. Keep in mind this was all done by email. Until I went into the store I didnt even know what Mr. Schofield looked or sounded like. He was very timely in responding back to my emails and answered every question I had. Approximately three days later we made the hour and 20 minutes drive up to Edgewood MD. The second we get there we are greeted by Mr. Langmead and Mr. Schofield. They had the Jeep out waiting for us and was ready to be test droven. After spending about an half hour looking over the vehicle I took it for a test drive for about 20 minutes and was very pleased. We got back to the dealership and sat in Mr. Langmeads office. Signed a couple of forms and was told we are going to have to wait for the financial adviser. In the past we usually had waited a long time, but approximately two minutes later we were back going over the paper work. I wish I remember the financial advisers name, but forgot it because he was just as nice as everyone else. We could find a baby sitter and had to bring our four year daughter to the dealership and everyone was very friendly to her and was joking with her to keep her occupied. Approximately two hours later, I was driving home in my new Jeep. I have bought four vehicles in the past two years and everyone at the dealership has asked me to go online and review the dealership. This has been the only dealership that I have done this so far and there is a reason for that. This by far has been the best experience from start to end when it comes to buying a vehicle. Everyone was very nice and polite to us and made us feel like we were the only people there buying a vehicle. I would highly recommend anyone to buy there next vehicle from here. The reason why I only emailed Mr. Schofield in the beginning was because my past experiences with car salesman was that they tell you what you want to hear just to get you into the dealership. Once you get there they tell you something completely different. This WAS NOT the case with Thompson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. Mr. Schofield was direct to the point and provided me with great information. If I ever decided to upgrade my Jeep it will 100% be at this dealership.

I contacted this dealer when searching on AutoTrader. My intent was to gather information and search for the best deal that I could find, not only on the new vehicle, but also on my trade in-value I was not aware at this time, the dealership was almost 500 miles away. The sale representative (Sam Sinclair) was very personable and attentive to my needs. Even after realizing that I lived 2 states away, Sam was still focused on providing me the best deal possible. Sam collaborated with Used car manager Rick Schofield and was able to negotiate me the best deal on a new Jeep and the best trade-in price also. Rick was able to negotiate with the bank to provide me with the best finance rate for my transaction. If this was not enough, knowing I lived 2 states away, coordinated transporting the new purchase vehicle to me and picked up the trade-in vehicle at no other cost. This dealership was able to provide me with the best new vehicle purchase I have ever had. This dealer being located over 500 miles away was able to provide me with a better trade-in amount, vehicle purchase price, and finance rate than any dealership I contacted locally. I will certainly consider purchasing another new vehicle from this dealership in the future.

I originally bought my 2014 Jeep Compass in November of 2013 from Tisha Felizzola, she was easy to work with, knowledgeable about the vehicles, and extremely helpful. More recently, now January of 2017, I ran into some major issues with my Jeep, I took it to a private mechanic, hoping to save some money, WHAT A MISTAKE. After it breaking down three times from this mechanic, I knew I had to call the dealership. My first encounter was with Don and he started looking into my issue, he was extremely helpful and later that day I had the vehicle towed there. WOW, what an experience, while it was a process (my fault, not theirs, as the other mechanic had put some aftermarket parts on my car) Dan Patzwall, Service Manager, got personally involved in my vehicles issue. I believe after a month of not having my car, having it towed a total of 6 times, that the issue has been resolved thanks to the dealership. They also filled up my gas tank, washed my car and even found some extended warranties to cover costs. I will never take my vehicle elsewhere. AMAZING customer service, friendly and professional staff. THANK YOU DAN and DON, so very grateful for your help and guidance!!

Mixed feelings. Some visits to the service department are great, others... not so much. I do not like that my most recent visit I went for routine maintenance but inquired about a concern, and was told the the "fast lane" is not able to evaluate my concern and a follow up must be scheduled (which is understandable but frustrating) and for additional diagnostic fees. Since this, I went to a local mechanic, had the problem fixed for less then they estimated "diagnostic fees". Since my repair, a sound my car made for more than a year, which I didnt even know was relevant to the recent repair (which I inquired Thompson about at least a year before) has since stopped. Which means when I did schedule an appointment while still under warranty to diagnose this problem, it could have been covered under the warranty had they not missed the problem. I guess that is a typical practice for dealerships though, as well as tell you multiple other things you can pay them to fix prematurely, just not my cup of tea...

My experiance at Thompson was so great! I was looking for a car for months. I had been to countless dealerships or talked to sale people on the phone. Never the less they didnt want to work with me in price just wanted to keep pestering and give me something I didnt want. When I found a vehicle with everything that I wanted and was looking for at Thompson, Julie and her coworker heled me so much. They worked with me and never gave me the idea that I was just another sale. They tried very well to get me in my price range and never stopped until we were there. They put forth a effort far more then any of the other places I had called or been. I definitely will go back to Thompson again!
