Talk about customer service, just wow, mind blown. I went to Salvo after dealing with a Mr Tire for a check engine light. The problem in the end was a bad gas cap. On top of that i it was time to get a new air filter and some injection cleaner. Now i could have stayed at Mr Tire and the whole repair (the things i mentioned plus some others) would have cost me upwards $500!!!. No way man. Since these were easy repairs i could do myself, why not do them myself. SO i headed to Salvos. Now i have plenty of auto part stores to choose from. And to be honest for the most part non of them are particularly impressive from the customer service side or the stock side. Being that i hadnt been to Salvo in a while i thought why not check them out. Upon arriving i was greeted in quick order. Told the gentleman at the desk what i was looking to get and he proceeded to give me a recommendation for the injector cleaner while he looked in the computer to see if the other two items were in stock. One of which, the gas cap, was. The air filter they were less sure about. While the system said they had one, they could not find it, and trust me they looked. However, without asking to check, one of his other locations did have the air filter, which he proceeded to call and made sure that they put it aside for me to pick up, which i did just a bit later. All in all as oppose dot paying upwards of $500 dollars for a minor car repair, i think i spent around $50, which was less than Mr Tire quoted me on the gas cap replacement. As mentioned before, i have plenty of choices when it comes to auto part stores in the area. While Salvo runs just a bit higher than some (slight less than some others) and it doesnt have one of these fancy rewards programs, the customer service i received was enough to make me a return customer. On top of it your supporting a local business. While its a chain, it one thats based here in Baltimore with nearly all of its stores in the metro area.

workers were nice . They sold me the wrong battery and then would not let me return it only exchange it. So I was forced to find a way to return to the store with a heavy battery and no car instead of buying a new one somewhere else. There are other stores around them that can do a simple battery order. So I cant say I trust this store to do anything more complicated .

Everytime we have to order and wait on a part it seems the part is wrong n has to be taken back after tearing the car apart to then find out its wrong have to put it back together to get rhe right part
