Very unfriendly, uncaring and in Human Closing Staff. I work in Laurel and live in Catonsville. After work I rushed to Catonsville Store Clearly 4-5 Minutes before Closing at 9 pm. I kept knocking on the door at two employees who were Cleaning while Customers walked out. One was preventing entry and shouting we are closed. I pleaded that i only need a Gallon of Milk and here is the Cash. I will stand outside and wait for you for the Milk which I need for a handicapped Child. It all fell on deaf ears. They even laughed at me for standinding there so long and not going to 7 eleven and why Iwas standing there. I even said I will make a complaint, you had closed early and have no respect. The tall Healthy Afro American who I had not seen before and must be only few days old at this store clearly said FU from the store doors and stop bothering him. One of your customer heard my begging for Milk for a Handicapped Child and insisted to take her Gallon of Milk Free. I insisted on paying to her but she would not take any Money. It goes to show there are still some Good Samaritan in this World. But you did not employ any of these Employee who may have a kind Heart. I will write about this to every madi, as I have been Laughed at, Hurt and Ridiculed only because I have not been born here and an Asian Born. But I am an American Citizen and have been paying my share of Taxes for the last 18 years.. I deserve a better treatment and a apology.

This is a really nice Aldi and it may surprise you if you are a very healthy eater that you can find awesome, real food choices here. You can get a lot of organic items here like marinara sauce with no added sugars, lots of organic produce, coconut milk and almond milk (though they do contain carrageenan), organic milk (though its more expensive here than Whole Foods and Wegmans), great deals on canned goods and dried beans, gluten-free brown rice flour pasta, whole wheat flour, 85% dark chocolate, and even some goat cheese! They MOSTLY have packaged, processed foods so if youre looking for that, there is plenty. However Im writing this review to let people know that you can still buy lots of great things here that are actually good for you and your family that arent processed, fake food. Aldi is owned by the same company as Trader Joes so I have found things here before that I know they also sell at TJs. Sometimes they are labeled differently, but its the same product inside for cheaper that TJs. I dont really buy meat at Aldi since I usually go to Treuths or Clarks now, but I have at times in the past and it always tasted fine.

I think a lot of people dont understand that Aldi has limited amenities/luxuries (such as "free" carts and bagging, huge selection, specialty items, etc) in order to keep their cost way down. The reason that Giant, Safeway and others cost twice as much is because all of those things contribute to their overall bottom line. So, Aldi does its own thing: excellent food (a lot is organic!) for rock bottom prices. I can shop for a hungry family of 4 for $50 a week (including diapers, cat litter, and paper goods). If you need a specialty ingredient for a recipe, you may have to hit another store -- thats fine. Aldi also has excellent, friendly customer service and appears to treat its employees very well. They check customers out lightning fast due to their bag-your-own setup, so even long lines diminish very quickly.

We stopped at the Catonsville MD ALDI this afternoon. It was very busy, but also very clean and orderly. The cashiers are fast and courteous. The only con if you can call it that was navigating around the other shoppers. Its important to save where you can in this economic environment, and I appreciate the savings that ALDI affords its customers. I also am very pleased that they encourage cart responsibility, so their parking lot doesnt have discarded carts all over the place, and its easy enough to have a quarter on hand to use the ones kept by the door. Weve been buying cloth grocery bags for years now, so have plenty to pack our groceries into. I foresee us shopping at ALDI often.

Great experience shopping here. Food is more affordable than normal grocery store. Saved us tons on our monthly budget. Staff is all friendly, most food items are stocked. Save about 30% on items. Milk at 1.99 is a steal for a gallon. Wish there were more stores nearby in Ellicott City or Columbia. Love the renovation! Open, Clean and Clear!

The only issue I ever have here is with the line. The fruits and veggies are always ripe or just about ripe. Chicken and beef are very nicely priced and the frozen foods are sometimes better than the name brands. For someone on a budget, this is a very enjoyable experience, both in finding product and staff interactions.

Im a Trader Joes kinda guy, but my experience here was just fine. You need a quarter to release a shopping cart and to do your own bagging but the prices are good and the food weve eaten has been all quality. Selection is more limited than TJS so beware you may need to hit a few other spots as well..

Prices are great, employees are friendly. Customers are rude and dumber than a bag crap on fire. They cant park for shart either. I mean for f*#$sake, if you have to pull in and out of a parking spot 9 times to straighten your car, get a bus pass. Nothing Aldi can do about that, not their fault.

I love the prices here, cant be beat! The cashiers need to be careful when checking out. They often place fragile items underneath the rest of the groceries. I always have to ask them to place soft veggies and bread in the top of the cart. I always tell everyone about the great prices!

Great value for everything your kids eat lots of! The produce is fresh and inexpensive and the breads and rolls are fantastic. The fruit waters have become a staple in my kids lunch boxes and the staff is always friendly, fast and helpful. Love, Love, Love it!

The prices and the quality are unbelievable. The inconsistency may be you that I was driving a $50,000 automobile in their parking lot and wonder what people would think if a guy who could afford that kind of car is doing in the discount grocery.

My favorite place to shop here. The prices are amazing and the selection is always changing, so I never get bored. They have some of the best deals for produce when its in season.

Excellent customer service. During the holidays when the lines were getting long they called for backup to move the the customers out . The cashiers were fast and efficient!

As a stand alone store its alright; however Im used to the two newly renovated ones in my area and they are more organized and have greater variety than this location.

Prices are great. Frozen pizzas are actually pretty darn good. Some of the pasta meals are salty - even for me. But most their foods are pretty good!

Great value for sure. Only problem is that there is usually only one or two cashiers and long lines. Make sure you bring a quarter to get a cart
