The cashiers and staff are nice enough. I like the bakery products, although could be stocked better and cleaned up. Like other customers, Im concerned about the seafood department. My husband and I had the unfortunate experience of returning bad salmon that I paid over 17 dollars for. I dont have much experience buying fish and was naive and trusted the fish was fresh and did not initially check. Upon closer inspection when I got home, the fish was darker and rough on top and slimy on the inside. It smelled strange too. Im glad I had the sense to ask my husband if it was fresh before I put in the oven. He was not happy. We just moved to the area, never thought I had to check the produce to make sure it was fresh. Im glad we are fine and well.

I have been a homeowner and resident of the Avondale Association for over 32 years. I am concerned about the quality of the seafood and meat at this store. Today I spent $ 15.99 for crabmeat that was inferior. I wanted salmon, but that was not appealing and looked old. The managers need to keep a closer review on the food they are selling to the community. Although we have limited stores, the ones we have should maintain quality products. I only shop here when I cant get to another store. This should not be the case;. quality assurance is very important.

I been shopping many times in this store but today I have a bad experience, I was paying in the fastlane and the same time I was in the phone,my husband call me at that time.I didnt put attention that my daughter 2 years old dropped three fruit chew on the floor and a employee shouted to my daughter and me to clean the floor for three little gums and them she said I will call immigration. I talk to the manager Dave . The security guy hugged me and he apologized god bless him .I hope they talk to this lady.

Good fresh seafood options and produce, but really a lack of any gluten free options youd normally find in even a smaller store now. Im also not a fan of the layout of the store, but that is just preference. Price wise they were in line with what you expect. If they would increase their gluten free selection, even if it is just a few small shelves I would add a star to the review.

Great prices, long lines. The prices are very good. They have a pretty decent latino food section. I usually find most of what I want. but they are often out of some basics though like lemons or basil. Yesterday they were nearly out of broccoli. The lines can be really frustrating. There are like 16 registers and usually about 4 or 5 are open. Maybe they are always short staffed.

I shop at this Shoppers location a lot. They always have the items that I need in stock. Customer Service is good and the prices are GREAT!! Only one con about this store. Its that annoying stupid security guard lady. She walks around the store as if she is all high and mighty. Lady fall back!! Overall this Shoppers location is good!!

If I could give them 0, I would. Ive been in there 5 times in the past year.they are so rude and nasty at checkout. One time the guy stared at me, I thought he was going to punch me instead of saying thank you. The next time the girl was acting disgusting. You need to do audits.
