To whom it may concern : My wife and I was in the store today, 7/9/10 around 2 p.m. We found everything we needed, and we fine until we got to the cashier. The young lady, and Im using the term loosely, act as if she hated being their, and waiting on customers. She didnt acknowledge us, she slung our bags around, and we purchased 2 bags of charcoal. I put the bags on the belt, she scan them, totaled our sale, and crossed her arms. Didnt say "you have to remove the bags" or anything! She just had that dont care look on her face, still never saying a word! She was a young Black Female, maybe 20, with long reddish braids. I didnt want to cause a scene, so I didnt say what I wanted to say. Unless I have no choice, I will not be visiting your store again, and I will mention my experience to other people.

macro Marco supplement review
Had a run in with one of the "supervisors" , they had wheat pasta(16 boxes so its clear someone ment to put it there) in a spot on the shelf for 1$ mvp special. Turns out it was a 1.50$ , the "supervisor" was only willing to take 5$ off mind you I had 16 boxes so 5$ of isant anything . I explain to her how customer laws work she still seemed clueless and clearly a retard who shouldnt be a "supervisor" not even knowing basic consumer LAWS . put in a complaint with corporate and the manager at the time (jeff I believe) had a 20$ gift card waiting for me in the safe and completely restored my faith in his store!!! Food lion always WILL 100% solve any issue you have NO HASSLE AND HAS THE BEST PRICES!!

I like this store for the most part. It is very clean and the employees are very friendly. I enjoy the hot food at the deli because everyday around noon they fry up these tasty,crunchy,chicken wings. I am a breakfast food fanatic but do not buy the eggs here because they taste like cardboard. Great assortment of snacks,drinks and ice cream though.The prices on paper goods and candy here are a little high in comparison to other markets in the area.When the lines get long they usually open up more registers. If you need Customer service go in early because the lines for that are almost always long. On balance a relatively pleasant shopping experience.

My first time at that grocery store chain. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable and the store was well organized. The store was Very clean in appearance defiantly up to my standards. Keep up the great work. Also the young man that helped me Shaun. Greeted me with a smile, which made my week. Ill be visiting this grocery chain again.

The help is very unfriendly. I stood at the deli counter for a good 5 minutes before I was acknowledged and helped. The cashier never said hello and was talking on the phone while ringing me up. With the right help the store would be excellent.

Selection is good and prices are competitive, even with Walmart. Friendly staff. Produce lasts longer than Wal-Mart produce. They are reactive to rushes, putting as many cashiers on the registers as needed.
