Im interested in purchasing a Gaming laptop. I called Computer Marketplace first. What a mistake. I asked if they built gaming laptops. The response I got was on the verge of ignorant, the gentleman says" we dont BUILD laptops we sell them, i can sell you one" I asked what name brands they sold he replied "Asus" I then said Oh ok well I had read a couple reviews online that Asus had some trouble with thier gaming laptops and sound. He stutters for a minute and says"uh I dont know what your talking about" I explained I had read some reviews on the Asus ROG gaming laptop, I then asked him I assume that is the gaming laptop you sell? He says" well we sell different types to different people all depends on how much money you have to spend" I said well Im taling about the Asus Rog " he replies" I dont know what you are talkig about" So I simply told him well if you dont know what Im talking about when I say an ASUS ROG then we will not be doing buisness, he snorts in the phone and says " uh yeah ...ok" and hangs up. Seriously It felt like I was dealing with a bunch of snotty young kids or something. I sure wish I could have gotten further than a phone call with them. ********edit********* Second contact spoke with Jackson. Great guy, explained everything I asked about and KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT! Thanks alot Jackson. I will be purchasing my laptop from Computer Marketplace.

I had 3 technicians look at my "dead" hard drive at Best Buy. None of them could do anything with it. I took it to the Computer Market Place. Not only were they able to recover everything off of it, they charged me less. That was a couple of years ago. I have been coming back here ever since, and all of my experiences have been the same. Solid service, honest feedback, and all at a reasonable price.

The people there really know what theyre talking about. And their service fees are WAY less than the big guys. Ive bought 3 computers there because they use the best parts with long warranties. A computer I bought there had a part fail after two years and it was replaced and repaired no charge under the parts warranty! Amazing.

Your tech, Jack, helped me and solved my computer problems so easily I would have been out of a perfectly good computer without him. He even helped me build a computer for my son that would have been several "hundred dollars" more if I bought it retail (plus it wouldnt have been as pretty). Thanks TCMP, and big thanks to JACK.

Outstanding service - done right! These guys know their stuff. I bought a laptop here and it was completely set up correctly. They fixed two netbooks for me and they even gave me some advice on Linux. Buy your computer here before going to one of the big chain stores. They will take good care of you.
