Stop looking. Just go here. My external hard drive crashed while Im in the middle of preparing for a presentation, a sermon, and a paper. A Google search turned up a number of folk, but I liked these guys based on the comments. The comments were spot on. Al greeted me with a big firm handshake and immediately got to business talking about what was wrong. I mentioned the price, because I thought it was steep; he showed me other prices. He systematically tested my drive to confirm his suspicions, resolved the issue, tested it on his machine to make sure it worked, then had me get my laptop to make sure the drive worked on it. He offered me the option of keeping my old parts (which means they are not in the habit of taking your old stuff and trying to repurpose it), and when I asked him what the damage was, he said, "well, if you think that price is fair....." I was blown away by the fact that he gave me the option: "If you think that price is fair.." Yes, it was a little steep, but this worker was certainly worthy of the wage! He had me in and out in less than 20 minutes! I could have paid less in money but spent more time; more importantly, it was clear Al was knowledgeable and familiar with the issue. He also gave me good pointers on how to prevent these sorts of issues going forward. I cant say enough about them. They truly saved me today. Check them out!

My computer caught a virus and it looked as if Id lost all my files. I read about BC Computers on the google reviews page. I took the computer in and the owner knew exactly what had happened, and proceeded to tell me how I could fix it myself, which would have essentially made him no money. Im not that computer literate and asked if he could do the work himself and he was more than obliging. 2 days later he called me to tell me the computer was ready for pick up. He walked me through the changes he had made. He had installed a free anti-virus program, cleaned up my registry, and retrieved all my files intact. AND he actually cleaned the computer which was extremely dusty and covered in pollen. I cant say enough about how thorough, professional, nice the people were at BC computers. They are now the only people I will use if I have any more computer problems.

Charlie at BC Computers was a life-saver! One day my internet stopped working and a trouble-shooting call to Cox determined that it was the network card inside my computers hard drive. I run a hypnosis & coaching practice and having internet access is CRUCIAL to my business. I called BC computers and he was able to come out to my office within an hour with a new network card, installed it, and had me online within a half hour. And even with the "house call," the cost was very reasonable. Of course, the cost to my business would have been far greater if I was without internet capability for too long. Thanks again, Charlie!

Im pretty savvy when it comes to replacing components and trouble shooting my PCs (I have 5) But I could not figure this one out. Overheating and then nothing. I replaced heat sync and added dual case fans. No help. Then, tried re-seating everything and checking each component. During that the whole machine went dead. So, I took it up to BC Computers and 2 days later I was ready to go! No extra "up-selling" or trying to tell me other things were wrong. Problem? I had inadvertently pushed some paste into a place where it didnt belong. So, these are my go to guys now for all my PC repairs.
