We love this grocery store. We moved to Arbutus about 2 months ago and we tried almost every single grocery store there is around us about 2 miles surrounding us. We finally made it to this wife and we love it. They have little mini shopping carts for kids which is a huge plus if you have kids they give out cookies for kids at the bakery. They give him that little cookie card where they stamp it each time they get a cookie and you get like 10 cookies or something you get a free doughnut the next time you go. Just awesome a lot of employees there they have a decent deli section and like a salad bar which it looks pretty good. Its not a huge grocery store so its not like youre going to get lost or anything but it seems like they pack a lot of punch they have almost everything you need.

I go here weekly and I also came here when it was Mars. Some of the employees here are wonderful, thankfully some of my favourite Mars employees got hired here, and I love continuing to see them. I havent been around the new employees enough to really definitively say how I feel about them but things are going good. I love that there are always so many check out lanes open, it keeps things moving quickly and smoothly. So far I dont have any real complaints other than its just as expensive, if not more, than Mars was. At least in the beef in the butchery section is very expensive.

This place is a joke....watch when you check out because sure enough something will not be priced Right. It happens often....one time I bought something that was BOGO and I got charged for both items and the cashier wasnt able to help me so I had to go to the customer service desk to get the problem rectified. The line was from the desk all the way to the bakery at the back of the store, my guess is that these folks had pricing problems too, I left the store I wasnt going to stand in that line to get my money back. .......I sure miss Mars. :(

This is a great food store. Good prices and good selection of produce, meats, seafood, etc. A lot of value packed into a smaller space. Although they do not have self check-out and the parking lot can be a little busy. The have incredible customer service, from bagging your items, loading them into your car, even meeting with you to return your cart after you have unloaded it to the manager them self opening a line and checking you out to help reduce the wait time on a busy pre-holiday night.

If you have young children, this is probably the best grocery store to go to. They have child-sized shopping carts and they have a "cookie club" card where your child gets a free cookie at the bakery and a punch on the card. After X amount of punches, your child gets a free doughnut, which is just exciting for them. So fun!

This used to be a Mars supermarket prior to 2016. The place needs some cosmetic work and the parking lot is tight. Overall I like Weiss as opposed to Giant, but this location would be better with some tlc and improved produce section.
