A bright, cheerful and knowledgeable business women awaits your questions and curiosity when you enter this palisades of taste and comfortable times. The owner is a rare find in the business world as well as a find in her ability to demonstrate and present wines of innumerable variety and pleasure. There is a highly diverse spirit section with again a real presentation of variety and choice. I have been a customer of this store almost from its beginning. My mistake was not going there earlier. I honestly recommend a visit to this relaxed environment of liquid pleasure. If you want, one has the opportunity to try some spirits that are being offered for a most reasonable cost. The best should not be missed!

This is my go-to place for just about any wine or scotch or gin possible. Lula is excellent when recommending a boutique Bordeaux may it be French she knows just what Im looking for. Then there is rhe owner Vicky who remembers the wine I bought last Christmas for my family, hey and we did this over the phone. Talk about exceptional service. Most of all ther is the occassional Friday evening guest musician who create a spirited fun-filled event. The whole of Mt Vernon come in and celebratesthe end of the work week. I love this wine shop.

I have come to Spirits of Mt.Vernon several times. The same kind lady is usually there and eager to help. She has been quick to make wine offerings based on my modest price range and dinner selection, and it was delightful. I most recently went in for a nice scotch, and she accommodated my price range and recommended what has turned out to be a terrific bottle of scotch. I only leave off the 5th star b/c I would like a larger liquor selection there.

What an incredible find! I came across this store during a business trip to Baltimore. I told the staff what kind of wine I wanted, and they instantly knew which bottles to suggest. The atmosphere is very appealing, staff is very friendly and approachable, location is great, and the wine selection was excellent. My only negative comment is that they close kind of early. If I lived in Baltimore, I would visit this business very frequently!

Mt. Vernon Wine and Spirits is generous in every way. Great helpful staff, knowledgeable and reasonable and you can now sit outside and drink wine. Selection is top notch and they also have cheeses and meats and mixers which is great when in a bind or need clutch additions to a meal or when attending a function. Easy to grab and go. Great music and tasting and perfect for private parties and special events.

Fridays Free wine tastings is an excellent way to get familiar with wine and the locals, also the featured wine is 10% off that day. The staff is personable and friendly. The selection is great and they will go out of their way to find a wine for you if they do not keep it in stock. If you are a local ask about the passport discount book if your frequently visit the shop.

The best wine store Ive ever visited! Great selection of wines and wide selection of prices. Excellent atmosphere, brilliant service. Lady CEO who helped me with choice was amazing, she chose for me the best wine Ive ever tried. They also have charmy sleepy dog whose name is Bear and who looks like a bear. And they have 10% discount on Tuesdays!

Over the past year, I have hosted events that required "top shelf" selections of a variety of liquors. Spirits inventory is just that, "Top Shelf". I have also hosted events on a tighter budget, and equally impressed with selection and price. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about her products, and truly a pleasure to work with.

Great place! Walked into their regular wine tasting and then got personal recommendations from a staff member for a bottle of red that was well worth the price. Also got some cheese and bruschette to eat which was also delicious. All sorts of people there, very lively and entertaining, but the staff was the highlight. Great time!

Outstanding customer service!!! I needed a a bottle of whiskey for my Christmas liquor exchange that they didnt carry and they went out of their way to get it for me. They even got their rep to hand deliver it to the store the next day so I could have it in time. It doesnt get much better than that!!!! Excellent place!!!!
