I have lived on and off in the Edgewater area for 30 years... the one store you could always trust in is Edgewater liquors. They have always been helpful when you needed help picking out a wine, their selection is better than any in the area, and their staff for the most part has been the same over the years... that should tell you something right there. I have always been treated kindly there and know that when there is a special party to organize, I can count on them to help. Michele

My drink of choice is whiskey and there is no place better to buy it than Edgewater Liquors. The staff here has always taken the time to talk to me and give great recommendations on underappreciated whiskey and some that might be a bit overrated. I have never gone wrong when I bought any of their recommendations. This is the only place I go to buy Liquor and I live about an hour away in Calvert County!

Heres why I love Edgewater Liquors. Their staff is always super helpful. The sale prices cant be beat. They have an amazing selection. Yes, the premium items have a bit of a markup, but at least they have them. I go out of my way to shop here. If they dont have something stock, if they CAN order it for you, they absolutely will. Always a great experience!

I was in search of a rare bottle, and called Edgewater - they had it! However, they neglected to share that they were charging EIGHT TIMES THE MSRP. That is EIGHT TIMES. Now I am all about small businesses turning a profit, but that is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. They should be ashamed of their price-gouging practices.

Love this spot. Im new to Edgewater and was glad this place was so close because its all I needed in a liquor store. Overstocked and overstaffed (in a very good way), fair prices and good sales (the rotating $9.99 case of beer special is great), knowledgeable and friendly workers. What else you need, man? Edgewater Liquors has a great selection and knowledgeable staff. If they dont have a particular wine Im looking for, they always go above and beyond to track down a bottle and order it for me. What else can you ask for?
