Precisely the kind of cake and ice cream Ive been looking for... My wife and I dropped by for dessert after an excellent late lunch at Water For Chocolate (thats another review). We got the red velvet cup cake with cream cheese icing, the mini pineapple upside down cake, and a scoop each of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The cakes were soft and moist, but not gooey. They will warm it up for you if you want. And what I like about it is that the cakes are not too sweet. They serve Taharka ice cream which I find okay. At least the chocolate and vanilla were also not excessively sweet. Would have been perfect with coffee but I left my coffee tumbler in the car. If you find parking a bit of problem, I suggest you park on the far corner of Locust Point Park near the dog run and Banner Field then take a walk through the park. Its not far at all and it is worth your while.

Rude! I didnt even get to taste the cupcakes because the door was literally shut on me! The hours are supposed to be until 5:00, and I showed up 20minutes til 5:00, the open sign was lit up, and as I walk up the door, it was locked and light turned off on me. I tried to open the door and knocked and no one let me in. Its still not 5:00 and I have already driven home, found parking, and written this review! Since they dont want to serve their customers and would rather leave work early 0 stars for you if I could and I will be getting my desserts elsewhere.

Hands down, the best in Baltimore! We used to live nearby and I would seriously have to limit my cupcake intake! Now that we dont live in the neighborhood- we still make the drive over. Even my family on the Eastern Shore requests the cupcakes for birthdays. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating. They have every type of cupcake you can think of and they are all amazing! Never a bad item. I recommend them to everyone for desserts, birthdays, weddings, events, etc!

These cupcakes are amazing. Once youve had one cupcake, you will want to come back for more! Its also cool that they sell dip and dots ice cream and soft serve ice cream made in mount vernon. Some of their cup cakes have alcohol in them, which I plan on trying next. I got the smores cup cake slightly warmed up and it was mouth watering delicious.

Great place, great desert! Owner puts a lot of thinking and innovation into making those beautiful and absolutely amazing cup cakes! If I have to say anything as point for improvement, I would love it even more if the cup cakes get a bit less sweet.

I order my daughter birthday cake or cupcakes every year for the pass 3 yrs and have been very satisfied. The store is always very clean and the owner is professional and nice, the cakes are delicious which is another reason why we keep going back!

These cupcakes are the best!! Like omg, they are such a guilty pleasure but I cannot help myself. The salted caramel is amazing, goes perfectly with ice cream yum!
