my experience in the store is ALWAYS good - very nice, helpful people and I even got a recipe! Having said that, my experience with trying to get someone to my home (so I could buy and have installed 2 new doors) has not been a good one. I drove 9 hours today so I could make my previously scheduled appt Sat morning and when I arrived- I find a note that the guy has to reschedule! P-od is putting it mildly. Nate, the manager at Ellsworth Home Depot, is trying to help and he couldnt have been nicer......................

I do not enjoy shopping at this store at all if you have another option go elsewhere! their customer service is terrible one time I was in there and some people brought their dogs into the store and the dogs were literally fighting with each other and instead of any of the store workers asking the people to leave and remove their dogs from the store they just stared and laughed at the dogs

Ordered in-store pick up for a stocked item. Waited 5 hours before heading to the store to pick up the item, after waiting and never receiving an email to come get it. Luckily my item was actually in stock, but no one pulled it from the shelf. I had to go find my item myself and bring it back to the service desk, then wait in line.. for something I had already paid for.

Dont trust their website, I drove 30 miles to get something that was stated as in stock at the Ellsworth Home Depot just to be told it wasnt on the shelf. They said they had 2 in stock but they didnt know where they were. No apology, no offer to find one at another store and ship it to me.....just sorry... No wonder people would rather shop online...

Water warning. If you buy bottles of water here and you decide not to buy any more, even though you paid $7 each for the bottle deposit you will not get your deposit back when you return your empties. They will only refill them. How is this legal for them to do? They took me for $21 for three empties.

there are many choices in town to purchase home improvement supplies but our home depot cosistently comes through. it is like walking into a family run buisness. freiendly people eager to help. there is a new lowes in town and they just dont get it. hd in ellsworth is awsome.
