Very Disappointed: I went to the store to buy a mosquito magnet but they were out. An employee there suggested I order one at the help desk. I went to the help desk and they were very friendly, took my money, gave me a receipt and told me they would contact me in 5 to 7 days when it was ready to pick up. I call the store and speak to an employee and they can’t see that it was ordered. I was transferred to Jamie the manager who said he’ll look into it and call me back later in the day or tomorrow. Three days later no return call from Jamie so I call again and speak to Dominic. Dominic isn’t too happy to be wasting his time talking to me and insisted to me that I ordered it online and that even if I didn’t order it in the store that I ordered it online, I explained to him repeatedly that I didn’t order it online and he said that the employees ordered it online “for me” and that I didn’t really order it from the Bangor Home Depot. He then tells me that it’s a seasonal item and that what I ordered was one of the items when it eventually comes back in stock. He offered to give me the SKU for the item so I could keep checking when it was in stock and when I found it to be in stock I could come in and pick it up. He said it looks like they may get some in another couple of weeks but maybe not too, these things are “tentative.” What to do now…

MARCH 23, 2015 I VISITED THE HOME DEPOT IN BANGOR MAINE. I FREQUENT BOTH THE "HOME DEPOT" AND "LOWES" STORES IN THE AREA. IM CURRENTLY REMODELING MY BATHROOM AND INSTALLING ENGINEERED FLOORING THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE. WHEN IN THE HOME DEPOT IN BANGOR I WAS APPALLED AT HOW DIRTY DUSTY AND DRAB EVERYTHING WAS. WHILE LOOKING AT VARIOUS FLOORING SAMPLES AND TRYING TO DETERMINE FLOOR TEXTURES THE DISPLAYS WERE FILTHY. I TOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS JUST THE FLOORING AREA BUT WE BROWSED AROUND FOR SOME BATHROOM FIXTURES AND FOUND THAT AREA THE SAME WAY. THIS STORE MUST HAVE MANAGERS WHO LIVE THE SAME WAY AND SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH A LITTLE DUST AND DIRT. (IT IS NOT A LITTLE IT IS A LOT) IT MAY BE A HARDWARE STORE AND SO SOME DUST WILL FLY BUT THEY BETTER GET THEIR EMPLOYEES USING VACUUMS AND DUST MOPS OR THEIR BUSINESS WILL BE COLLECTING DUST JUST AS THEIR PRODUCTS HAVE. I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS HOME DEPOT. AND IF THE BANGOR HOME DEPOT WAS SMART THEY WOULD SEND ALL EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT TO THE LOWES IN BREWER WHO SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND KEEP THINGS MUCH CLEANER. ......SO HOME DEPOT....CLEAN UP YOUR ACT!!!

I walked in earlier today and I was looking for a particular pair of pliers. A Snap Ring Pliers set that Channel Lock makes the 927 series. They where about $10 cheaper on Amazon and one of your associates price matched a Valid Shipped and Sold Amazon Prime Price and then gave an additional $2 off. Let me tell you I was extremely happy. Thats also why 4 months ago I bought my $500 Husky Tool box from you too. You guys are doing great. I know most of the people dont take the time to post a positive review, But I was so pleased with the customer service that manager lady had around 3pm on Thursday. I am going to you guys if you guys carry what I need. Thanks again!!!

We are building a multi thousand dollar home. Bought everything from home depot. Worked with Bill and Matt which were both let go. Now the people working there are lazy, unhelpful and rude. We have switched all of our business to Lowes. I even watched 4 grown men stand there watching a poor women load 10 sheets of plywood into her truck by herself. Horrible!!! Hire back the people who help your customers!

Just getting into the parking lot is a pain, the lights are too long then you have to go through a maze to get to the parking area. Staff appear lazy and unmotivated to help. Items listed on the web site tell you they have them in stock when you get to the store the items are out of stock. There are two LOWES within 15 miles.......

RealMainer Says: This store needs a complete overhaul. Too many people walking around and yet nobody seems friendly or willing to help. You can stand in one of the aisles for an hour before someone comes over to help you and the tool rental people and their supervisor are the worst Ive ever seen. Just awful...Buyer Beware!

Woman with gray hair at the paint counter was incredibly rude. A woman next to me mentioned her paint looked way more pink than the sample she gave them and the woman basically told her to shove it and its not her problem. As soon as a superior came around her attitude took a 180 and she started kissing ass. Not impressed

Purchased a Tub unit had problems with the gel coat. Just want to say that Robert St.Louis at the Bangor Store took care of the problem with the manufacturer and it was fixed immediately. Thank you very happy.
