I live within 2 miles of this store & I hate it so much I drive 15 miles to go to the other closest Wal Mart. Right now I am trying to call @ 11:50 pm to make sure they are open before I drive to a place I despise at such a late hour - even though it says they are a 24 hour store - Im on my 3rd call & no one has answered the phone. This is the worst Wal Mart I have ever been to & try very hard to avoid it even if I have to pay more at any other store. Its worth every penny. The employees can be downright belligerent & complaining to management is useless because they are still there months later when I drag myself back there. Now Im on my 5th call & still no one has answered the phone. I only chose 1 star because it wouldnt let me post if I chose no stars. They should have negative stars. Phone hung up again - no answer. Update @ 2:23 am - Ill give them 1 star for consistency! After racking up $185.00 in groceries for my boyfriends surprise birthday gathering & standing in the 1 & only line open - Im told I cant buy beer because its after 2:00 am - 2:03 to be exact. Gee... there were 10 people in front of me when I got in the ONLY line - so I cant purchase beer for tomorrow because they only have 1 register open. At 2:03 am. I have no words to surmise how much I hate that store.

Filthy and NASTY! If I could leave less stars for this it would be a negative 5 ! I have traveled across the country and been to Walmart in 11 different states and never, ever have I seen such filth and disgustingness in any store. The bathrooms alone are enough to give you nightmares for the rest of your life! There was excrement and urine on the floor , urine on the seats! When you tried to flush the toilet it spit everything back out at you and all over the floor. No toilet paper, no soap, and waste receptacles were filthy disgusting and had things using out of them. The big problem believe it or not was not just the filth... But there were no locks on the doors! Sadly there was also a sign out front that said it had just been cleaned. The rest of the store was filthy it was as if no one cared. Everything was disorganized, in the wrong sections and under the wrong headings. I actually found and eaten chicken wing in the sweaters that were hanging on the rack! Never have I seen anything remotely as disgusting as the store.

The pharmacy is horrible, no matter when you come or why. You can come with a new prescription or a refill from an old one that you have been taking for years and there is ALWAYS a problem... Either they claim to no get the doctor transmitted prescription, can locate the filled prescription or just flat out of stock of what you need...The techs are clueless and the pharmacist isnt any help when you ask if they can see if any other locations have your meds available, they tell you they dont know that information......VERY DISPLEASED

The people that work at this Walmart feel like the shoppers are lucky that they wait on us. They make no eye contact, do not talk to you and could care less if you are dead or alive. The shelves are not well stocked. The employees laugh and talk to each other like there are no customers. I only go there if I have too. They need to wake up. There are other stores that will be happy to take my money. Just showing up for your shift is not enough. Right now I feel the employees at Walmart are extremely overpaid.

This wal mart is the worst Ive ever been to ! The employees are rude for the most part and that includes management! Every time I would go there they would follow me around like im there to steal something! I work for a living and pretty sure I make more money than any one works there.I rather drive out my way than shop here.

If you dont have a problem with spending your hard earned money (or any $$ for that matter) @ a store where the customer service is usually no higher than a 1 on a scale of 1-10 about 99.999% of the time pertaining to Overall Customer Satisfaction, then this is definitely the place for you....ijs :-<

Not as large as some of the other Walmarts in Baton Rouge but has pretty good variety of stock. However they are often low on bread products and they dont have a good variety of Community coffee. At times the produce is not fresh. But other than those things its your typical Walmart.

I am here now October 25 201511:16 am I called twice for help in the jewelry department and 30 mins later no one has come..I am trying to buy wedding rings..Im leaving and going to Kays where I know I will receive customer service. Good luck with this ghetto store!!

There was more than one line open which is a miracle. The bathrooms were nasty as normal. This is also the worst store for customer service except for a select few. I go to this store because it is close but overall the worst Wal-Mart I have ever been too.

Fast service. While there is occasionally some confusion on my order because of the similar names of drinks at Starbucks... this location makes an effort to clearly understand my order to get my drink right on the first attempt.

One of the worst Walmarts in the state... The night shift is incredibly incompetent... There could be 100 people in line and the employees would just stand around and act like they dont see everyone waiting to check out...

Sweet Mary & Joseph, I try & avoid this Walmart at all costs but if I dont go its at 1 pm when they are not busy. Its not really the store but rather the screaming kids and rude people.

Expired produce, dairy, and items. Lack of upkeep fronting and rotation of items. Customer service center @ front gets 5 stars. Automotive checkout 4, service 1.

I love this Walmart, I drive 45 minutes to come here for an eye exam because the doctor there is the BEST and the employees in the eye center are AWESOME!!!!
