I went in to go purchase a pair of glasses, with my own prescription. I had a hand-written prescription from the VA in Iowa City. They wouldnt let me order it because I didnt have an expiration date on it. So I traveled all the way to Iowa City, came back to Walmart several days later and then they rejected the print out that I got from the release of information desk in the VA in Iowa City. The short tempered, curt disrespectful, Ive been working here for 10 years, person that tried to assist me still said that she had to contact the VA to ensure that this was the proper prescription. Saying over and over again that I would need something from them in writing them being the VA. This is so unbelievably frustrating I now hate Walmart. All I wanted to do was order glasses Kama I have my prescription, has written by the Veterans Administration in Iowa City. Theres no other information that they will provide Walmart because it is a medical information request and Im not going to give Walmart the ability to access any of my medical records. Then she demanded that she have a copy of my prescription. This prescription has personal identifying information on it and I have no idea what security they provide, I dont want my social security information that is on this form in the hands of someone from Walmart. It was a complete and utter lack of respect that anyone should expect. This is insane all I want to do is take the prescription that I have in hand, and buy some glasses. Walmart you frustrate me to no end, this is not helpful at all. I thought you were a veteran friendly business? I guess not. Looks like Ill be ordering my glasses from the Chinese online or from whoever offers the best service.

I love walmart. There is only a few thing that would make 4 stars into 5 and that is the help. Hardly you get help from the staff there once in a while someone will come up and ask do you need any help finding anything and the other is the clothing selection some of the clothes are hits and most are missed more for teen and older people. I have 3 kids and I dont want shorts to almost show my butt cheeks and I dont want old people shorts that go all the way to my knees. If they could do something like that it would be a 5 star place

I could go into Wal-Mart today and find reason to trash them, but its Wal-Mart. So Im taking the time to do the review because I just bought a TV their 4 days ago from a young man named Mitchel. Very polite and handled everything for me, he even loaded it in my truck instead of calling other people to do it. He even ran to hardware and got a tape measure so I could go measure the box against my back seat of truck as it was raining out. And hey, anytime you need a boost in morale, Wal-Mart is the place to be!

Its certainly not the worst Walmart Ive been to. Its typically clean, and is usually stocked decently. The employees are nice. They dont price match anymore which was the whole reason I go to Walmart anyway. There was no indication of this policy at all until you get up to the registers where there is a little notice posted. This is not helpful for people new to the store. It should be advertised in a more noticeable area like the store doors so that people dont waste their time.

Not enough registers open!!! Go in for a quick trip but a 5 minute trip turns into a 30 min trip, just waiting for a register to open up. Not to mention the cashiers are rude and unprofessional, some dont say hello to you when you have greeted them with a smile, they just look at you annoyed.

We have been there many times, the traditional anchor store in its new location with a broad, extensive selection of popular products in well organized sections and 24x7, we all visit Walmart sooner or later.
