I dont know who is running this store, but they need to evaluate their nighttime management. Ive had to visit this store (Hammond location) on three separate occasions (after 8pm) to order a "delivery only" product, and not once has an employee been able to assist me. Lots of "uhhhhh" and "ummmms." Thats okay if you dont know how to do something, but shouldnt you be willing to learn? I was understanding and asked if the manager could come out and help us...the young lad disappeared and later returned with a message from a manager ("Rhonda") saying she was too busy and asked if Id come back tomorrow. I drove 17 miles (and quit something very important) in order to make it to the store on time and place this order...a very important order for my business...and the manager couldnt even come out of the back office area to at least assist her employee in making a sale? Horrible Horrible. If the manager isnt available to help, someone should at least ensure that the employees are capable of ordering something from the in-store computer. PS. Kudos to the daytime management

Okay, so I just called the store five times during their "normal business hours" to ask about one of the services they supposedly provide. Three times no one answered (after letting it ring several times). Twice, a representative, whom I will refer to as "She--a", couldnt answer this simple question and asked me to hold. After waiting a while with no one answering, I called back. This time "She--as" voice kind of trailed off when I asked about the service and said she would redirect my call to someone who could answer the question. Then … (wait for it) … she hung up. No redirected call. Nice customer service Office Depot @ Town and Country Plaza in Hammond, LA. /: Now I think Ill shop somewhere else.

This particular location sucks. When youre browsing, you get bugged constantly by associates if you need help. When you actually need it, you cant find them! The registers, especially on the weekends, are never manned. You have to track one of them down if you want to make a purchase. When they do stick someone at the register, they get the most inexperienced person possible. My wife asked the guy to speak up on several occasions and he didnt bother. The managers excuse is that he was slow and "socially awkward". If thats the case, why stick him at the register!? It sucks that its the only office supply store in Hammond. Its worth the trip to Covington to avoid this store.

I tried to call in an order of flyers. The young woman in the print shop seemed confused by my request When I asked for the email address, she said she preferred to have orders like that dropped off in person so they can be proofed. Her lack of expertise re:printing flyers made me think I might want to proof them first, too. Better yet, I decided to order from another store. (Unfortunately, this seems to be the only option in Hammond)

This place is dark and depressing. Theres hardly anybody working there so you cant get any help and theres hardly anybody working at the registers. it is the absolute worst Office Depot I have EVER been to.

The stuff is overpriced and the service is AWFUL! Corporate would do well to FIRE the entire staff. OK...not so bad today. A nice fellow named Paul helped me with a UPS shipment. Three stars.

I dont like where it is located but the store in clean and has a great selection of office supplies and accessories. I get my water there and they have a recycling place for it too.

I like this Office Depot mostly because the employees are more helpful than I have encountered at other Office Depot locations. Great selection and they are usually not crowded.
