I went to Office Depot to get a Kindle Touch. I brought the slip to the register for the $99 version - the one without ads. They said they were out but offered to sell me the floor version which had only been out for 1-2 weeks for 10% off, so I went for it. I was rang up without the discount, and had to remind them about it, they gave it to me, no big deal. I went home and realized they gave me the Kindle WITH ads, which is $20 cheaper, even though I paid for the Kindle without ads. I returned to the store to ask to exchange the one I was given for one without the ads, and ended up having to explain the problem over and over to staff. The staff said that the number on the box matched the Kindle without ads, I had to explain over and over that regardless of the box, this Kindle definitely had ads and should have been $20 cheaper. Eventually, the third time I stated that I was sold the floor model, which could have easily been put in the wrong box by staff, he understood and gave me a refund. It felt like I couldnt trust them to know what they were doing. I was the one that had to make sure I was given the discount promised me, I was the one that realized they sold me the wrong product. Even when they refunded my money, I was the one that had to point out that they also needed to refund the warrantee I bought. If you have to shop here, be prepared to double and triple check everything because the staff seems to have no attention to details. Although they tried to help, the whole thing was a huge hassle and Im ending up going somewhere else to buy a Kindle anyway. I wont be shopping here again.

I step out of line to price check a cord i was being rung out on come back and the cashier (Jeremy)is ringing out another customer. So i waited to the side thinking he was going to finish my transaction when he was done but he takes the customer behind her. I spoke to the manager and the manager tells me i was suppose to go back to the end of the line eventhough he already started ringing me out. I just wanted to leave so i ended the argument and went back to rhe cashier. When i came back the cashier was ringing out another customer who than left in the middle of the transaction (like me) to check a product. I asked him to ring me up for my cord and he begin to look around for the other customer. It wasnt into i said " really? So you will wait for him that he decides to ring me out.

This review is for the print Service only! They do not know what customer service is. The older white male there acts like it pained him to print out 2 papers that I paid .88 cents for. He also had trouble with viewing I think he needs new glasses. He seemed to be disgusted with all the customers as well as he co workers. Everyone in this area is always having a bad day. I only write a review if the problem is constant, it is at this location. Management please give your employees a reason to smile because no matter how polite I am to them they are just Super unpleasant!

I am a grad student at UofC and have had to come here for school supplies, but wish there was competition nearby. The stuff here is way too expensive, for things like folders (a dollar for folders that cost 20 cents elsewhere), notebooks, writing supplies, etc. But what really turns me off about this store is the service - not only are employees quite rude, but the checkout lines have the slowest service imaginable. I routinely wait 5 or 10 minutes when there are only 2 people in front of me. I plan on shlepping out to Target to do my school shopping from now on.

I must start by highlighting the fact that one star is an overrating for this business.... Do not expect to order something and have it delivered to your residence or business on time... Better yet dont expect it to be delivered period..... Customer services has blamed the "carrier" for the entire week my delivery was overdue..... Oh and by the way you yourself need to take time out of your day to call customer service in order to get an update which sounds like "uhm yea, we aint get in contak wif da carrier" Dont waste your time- im done

I continue to believe the next time I go in for print services it will be better than the last time. Not so... I give up. I purposely place orders online and pick them up 1-2 days later so they have time to print them correctly. Again, not so... this is the third time I have had a problem with prints... this time, the wrong order... I can forgive this; however, I cannot the negative attitude of the print services person who made it seem as if it was my fault they printed the wrong job. Now I must go out of my way to travel to Staples

(this is a review of their shipping service) I went there to send some packages via the UPS/USPS drop off service they are providing. Terribly slow, waited for 15 minutes and then went to the UPS in 53rd street( I was in and out in 5 minutes although there were 3 people before me). If you have something to ship, dont go here because even USPS on 1510 E 55th St, Chicago, IL 60615 (which is notorious for slow service) is faster.

I had a pleasant experience while shopping for office furniture. I had a little of a hard time locating an item I saw online for sale and a young man I believe his name was Jeremy stopped his work on a ladder to come down and assist me. I made eye contact with several associates before I saw him. He truly made my visit better. If give 2 stars if it werent for him.

This place is an absolute joke. Youre never greeted when you come in the store and dont even think about going to the copy center where you can wait at least up to 40 minutes before someone gives you I contact or even say hello and theyll be right with you. The store looks and feels very raggedy and unkempt and its best to avoid the spot and go elsewhere.

The printing and copy center is pathetic. The absolute slowest service youll ever recieve, especially if Eugene is working and hes the department manager. At least one or two self- service stations should be incorporated to speed things up. I dread coming here have copies made or fax anything!

Managers Phil and Lillie are not the brightest! They charged me twice and told me I have to call my bank. Then tried to belittle me talking about how much money I had in my account Horrible service and they take forever! Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere!

I stopped going here after experiencing its customer service. The shelf price of regular products are expensive, and the clearance section offers no incentive for me to look around. The price error is never corrected and they blame you for their mistakes.

One of the best places around to handle your copying needs. Beats out FedEx Kinkos stores by a landslide. Staff is great prices much better then most of the high-end copying Center places.
