Food is delicious. Super fresh, local. The staff are very friendly and every option is a great choice. They have sandwiches as well as meats and prepared foods to take home. Their pickles are some of the best Ive ever had, as well as the bacon. Apparently their lunch on tuesdays is tacos which Ive heard great things about, but havent made it over there for that yet. I absolutely recommend this place! This side of Baton Rouge has been needing a local butcher forever and they do not disappoint! **The only less-than-5-star review is from an inconsiderate man who hates traffic and his review has nothing to do with the quality of products/ service that Iverstine offers. This places absolutely deserves 5 stars!**

Id recommend you change your buisness hours on your Google buisness page to reflect your actual hours of buisness. You wouldnt want someone to make their way through Baton Rouge holiday rush hour traffic only to find out you closed at 6 instead of 7 that is listed....edit from 1 star after giving them a second chance.

This place is great. The animals are locally raised and theyll cut you anything you need as long as its available. The prices are comparable to organic options or the whole foods butcher counter. My wife loves them, I dont think were going anywhere else again!
