I bought a very expensive item for someones wedding registry. I asked the cashier to scan the item to the registry when I checked out. She never said peep to me, not hi, not thank you, NOTHING. She attempted to scan the registry twice and it never took. It did not show up on my receipt, it did not print out a gift receipt as the website promises. I called the store and spoke to "Herman" about 90 minutes after the purchase and informed him that the registry was not updated. He told me to call back at 8pm, about 6 hours later. I called back at 5pm when I had double checked the registry and my receipt, neither of which had evidence that the registry was updated. I was on hold 9 minutes and they simply hung up. I called back and was on hold another 8 minutes and they hung up again. I called yet again and after 3 rings, they hung up. I finally got through to someone who put me on hold twice and then never came back. The line starting ringing again and a different person picked up. He was extremely rude and said that they did everything "right" and that the wedding registry was only a year old and so it had "problems". I told him of my customer service experience thus far and he never said Im sorry, that sucks, NOTHING. He told me AGAIN, to just call back later. Nothing is fixed and Im sure it never will be. NEVER EVER BUY FROM THESE RUDE, IGNORANT PEOPLE! Go to a different Best Buy or a different store altogether.

The only reason they get two stars is that store pickup has so far worked flawlessly for me every time I have done it (knock on wood). The other reason is once in a blue moon you will find a decent employee who will actually help you find something. If you dont know where something is most of the time it is impossible to find a competent employee who actually knows where it is. Most of the time they will say they dont have it, or they will straight up tell you they dont know where it is and walk away without offering to find someone who might know. The last time I went there was for the morning of the last NES Classic shipment for them. A large group of customers waited in line for the store to open to get one of these. In the hour we sat outside in line several employees went into the store and we could see employees by the doors, so they knew we were outside waiting. When the store finely opened the employees claimed that all of the units we had been standing in line for were already spoken for. They didnt run out in the first few people. They had zero for any of the customers that waited outside for about an hour until the store opened. That was the last time I went to that store, and the last time I will ever go to that store.

On a Monday I ordered a TV to be delivered the following Sunday as there was no option for in-store pick-up which I would have rather preferred because of my work hours. Come Saturday I received a call confirming my appointment for the next day. 2 hours later I received an email saying that my delivery was postponed 1 additional week. I called up customer service to verify that my delivery had been postponed and after speaking to 4 different representatives they mentioned the order had been forgotten coming out of a warehouse that was 50 miles away which created the delay. What added to the frustration is that one customer service representative did not believe my identity asking me every possible identifier of my person I could possibly give him at least 10 times. After placing me on hold, he mentions his system had not updated and verified I was who I said I was. I asked if there was anything he could do to either get the delivery on track or to keep my business. He said there was nothing that could be done. Being frustrated I cancelled my order, and picked up the TV the following day from Costco for cheaper.

This store sucks. All the workers suck. They claim to have so called expert knowledge about everything, let me be the first to say, they dont know squat. Ive never seen so much BS told in my entire life from people just trying to get a paycheck. Customer service to them does not mean a thing, what happened to actually giving a darn about a customers needs? You go into this store, tell them whats wrong with your problem, they make you feel as though its your fault. You try to go to the mobile center, the weave wearing ladies working back there are more focused on what they will eat for lunch or playing on their own phones. The managers here cant manage their way out of a paper bag. If they were capable, theyd watch what morons they have working on the floor, how its more like a playground than a store. Think Ill shop elsewhere, these idiots, havent a single clue on what they are doing.

Stopped in to buy a new laptop on Tuesday June 5th... the poor sales person in the computer department had her hands full with a customer and I waited.. and waited and waited.. 45 miutes and all the other associates just walked by. Finally the manager came by and asked if I had been helped and I said no, he got me a supervisor out of the back (good place for supervisors to be I guess) and helped me with the laptop I wanted and the DDR upgrade. Walked me up to the Geek Squad and processed in my laptop. This was all before 2:00 pm... and was told it should be ready by 6:00 p.m. Well it is Wednesday and I just called the store and was told they had not even started my laptop. Should have went online and purchased one. They seem to be over worked and not need my business.

I called to see if they had a specific model in a camera. I was told they did. I get there 20 min later and they dont. So I find 1 that I like and wanted to compare that was a joke I had to do it on smartphone. He did not know how to on computer. He tells me he has 2 I will go get it. He leaves 20 minutes later comes back looks in case where I am standing But it was not for that. Then he leaves again. Long story short after 2 hrs I had no camera. So then he tried to sell me a different brand and less features for the same money and tells me you can get the wires that I would need. Really I am not stupid. This is 2 times in this store never never again.

Came in with my GPS that broken fast after buying about 6-11 months ago, and customer service rep had terrible customer service, bad attitude . Very undelightful. They couldnt replace my GPS because they dont sell it anymore didnt even have the brand in the store. So I was just shoved a store credit with no help on the choice I wanted to make or if I wanted to make one. I asked the rep to look online to see if it was available there and she seem so disgusted by my request. Really starting to dislike Best Buy not my first bad experience. This store is in Baton Rouge,La off I-12 on millerville.
