On December 13, 2016 I received a piece of mail from the Kia Store. Now usually I would throw what I call "junk mail" away but on this particular day I didn’t. I noticed there was a game on the back of the advertisement called "Money Carlo" so I thought what the heck and pulled the tabs open. In this "game" you are supposed to match the same pictures on each side; so if I got 3 sevens on one side you would have to have 3 sevens on the other to "win." after I pulled all the tabs off... what do you know I received 3 sevens on one said and 3 sevens on the other. I was shocked. I never win anything, in fact I might be one of the most unlucky people alive. As my excitement was building I checked the key on the other side of the advertisement to see which prize I would be receiving and it said I won a $2500 gift card... In disbelief I called the number on the paper, after asking a million questions AND calling the actual store for more reassurance I was convinced that I had won. I arrived at the store December 15, 2016 at approximately 5:00pm. As I exited my car I was approached by a total of 3 car sales men asking if they could assist me. After explaining that I was a winner they directed me to a table where a man with a big board then greeted me. After trying to convince me to buy a car and asking questions about my current vehicle situation he finally cut to the chase. He looked down at the advertisement that I had brought in with me (per request) and pointed to a number, he then asked me if that number matched any of the numbers on the board. No. The answer was no. My number did not match the numbers on the board. And in that second I knew I didn’t win a thing. I would like to express how discussed I am that a company as established as The Kia Store would let potential customers and neighbors think that they won a significant amount of money or prize. Its the holidays and its absolutely unacceptable to give someone false hope. You do not know what kind of struggle people may be going through and to get there hopes up that maybe they could pay an extra bill or give their kids a better Christmas is despicable. You should be ashamed or yourselves to mislead the public as ploy to get potential customers in your store. From this day forward I will NEVER recommend shopping with the Kia Store simply because a company that is willing to lie about something as little as a prize will lie about anything. Thank you and have a wonderful holiday’s.

I initially had a wonderful experience with this Kia store, but also a bit disappointed by the chain of events. Mike White Jr. was great to talk with, gave me good guidance to find the perfect car for me. I fell in love with the Kia Soul, and was very excited that I was told I was approved for the 36-month leasing option. After I signed the contract and paperwork, I drove my new car home, and the next morning came back by to drop off the down payment. It wasnt until the following day that I received a phone call saying that unfortunately the bank wouldnt approve the leasing option, so the terms would be changed to a 72-month purchase. While the monthly payments wouldnt change, it was not the situation that I agreed on and signed for. I felt I shouldnt have been led on, if it wasnt approved before I signed then they should have asked me to come in the next morning when we could get a confirmed answer from the bank before making a final decision. I felt it was a hastily done to close the deal rather than taking good care of a customer and making sure I was happy. In the future, work on building trust with your customer and making them happy rather than just making the deal. While I am very happy with my car, I am not happy with how I was treated and felt almost tricked into a different deal then what I signed for.

This is a review for the service department at the 5325 Preston Hwy Louisville Kia Montgomery service/repair center. DO NOT take your vehicle to be serviced by these folks if you value your vehicle and wish it to continue operating in a functional manner. To keep things brief, I got in a minor incident with a manhole cover and had some dents/framework and wheel repair (hub & baring as well as air leaking issues) that was needed. They not only did not do the repair in a timely manner, their customer service is severely lacking and their service manager incredibly rude. To add insult to injury they left me with a dead battery upon arrival AND a brand new problem that they conveniently could not duplicate the TWO times I brought it back to them, not to mention having to realign my vehicle both times because it wasnt done properly the first go around. I am out over $1100.00 for the repairs and while I have taken my vehicle to a much more reputable dealer they cannot figure out what the dealer did to make my car sound like a whirring/grinding wind up toy while driving and that ends with a car-shaking clunk when I come to a complete stop/am braking. I am unable to rely on my vehicle for long trips back home and wish I never had gone to this establishment.

So I purchased a 2011 Sorrento, first off I want you thank Jasmine for emailing me exactly what I was looking for in the price range. I want to thank Derek for the trade in value and the things that needed to be fixed and working with my credit! What I dont understand is how a 2 day shipment of a part takes 4-5 days to fix, and the car is still not detailed? Im glad they gave me a loaner for the time. But Im not impressed with the sales lady, every time I asked a question her response is ALWAYS " I dont know" I get that she maybe new to this job, but if thats the case she needs someone to guide her through the process. Lucky for her I know a thing or two, but that will turn customers away. Also with having too wait on my vehicle to get ready, shes also let me know that "there are other people in front of you", so has everyone been waiting a week for there new car too? Im not impressed, Ill more than likely not refer anyone to kia nor purchase kia again. Worse part is I was referred up there and Im pretty sure the $200 referral wasnt done. Im just ready to get my car and go, but I bet itll be another day, because other people are in front of me!

As my husband and I pulled in, we were approached by Travis (Barnyard), before we could even get out of our vehicle. Our first thoughts were, great, we cant even get out before the vultures attack. Travis put us right at ease, and is definitely not the "usual stereotypical" car salesman. He was so down to earth and didnt speak to me as if I were a stupid female, which so many salesmen do. He answered all our questions and we drove away in a new Kia Soul. What a great pressure free experience for us. Thanks Travis!! I have to add another rave for The Kia Store. I recently finished school and a second vehicle has been needed. My husband was here this morning getting maintenance done on our Soul, and noticed a Fiat in the used lot. The Fiat only had 1900 miles and was red, my favorite color. This time we had the pleasure of dealing not only with Travis, but also Jerome. They make the entire car buying experience, so painless. We will be lifetime customers.
