Oxmoor Hyundai, Louisville, Kentukcy. My name is Jennifer Kennedy and I am a General Manager with a Restaurant Chain and Real Estate Agent. My 22 year old Daughter works for Humana in the Military Division and she has been looking at cars and her DREAM car was a 2014 Hyundai Sonata. She had done all the research, safety ratings, etc On May 19 she went to Hyundai of Oxmoor and bought a red Sonata. She gave them a down payment and traded in her Kia and put the Sonata on her insurance. On May 1st the Finance Department called and said hey would you come in and sign some papers. She went right after work and they informed her she was NEVER approved and had to turn her car in as they proceeded to block the Sonata in where she parked it. Now if you would like to give us a LARGER down payment we might be able to do something. I proceeded to the car lot and met with Doug w/finance and asked why there was a clause in her contract that was never disclosed. We were treated very rude and cold and my daughter has all this recorded on her IPhone. They said she could have back her trade-in but she would have to come back tomorrow afternoon for her down payment. I would not leave without the down payment. AAt this point, never got his name, a man ran in the office in a plaid shirt and yelled Im in charge of this lot get out, get off my lot. Screaming. I told him we were not leaving without the down payment and in a few minutes he brought it to us. This whole procedure has devastated my daughter. She did everything correct should good faith at every turn and I was interested a Hyundai and she told them and the lot had called her 6 times in that 2 week period she had the car to get me to come in. I am a sales/marketing/customer service person and I feel they way she/we were treated was outrageous. She had already made her first insurance payment on the Sonata and had put back over half of her first payment. They proceeded to tell us that we could go with a cheaper car...after being treated like this would you want to do business with this company. The finance guy said we are trying to protect your daughter I said I am her mom and I protect her. He stated if you protect her why didnt you co-sign for her??? My daughter said....Co-sign>>>no one never told me I needed a co-signer I signed all your paperwork you gave me the keys and I left. I am going to continue to tell this story to anyone/everyone. I have told all of my business co-workers who were out raged said they had never heard someone keeping a new car 2 weeks being misled and asked to come in and sign papers (a Total Lie) and then having the car blocked in and asked to leave the lot.

I dont normally care to review a company or a website but i felt compelled to this time. I have purchased 3 cars total from Oxmoor Hyundai in Louisville. Each time my experience becomes better and matches my expectation. Everyone i dealt with showed professionalism, expertise and great customer care. Its really good to know that businesses understand the importance of GREAT customer service. From the moment I walked in there I was greeted pleasantly and shown around based on what i was looking for, not what they wanted to sell. They made sure that I knew what promotions were available in addition to my search and left it at that. Working with my sales associate was a wonderful experience. He was so knowledgeable and friendly that I felt as if I were with a close friend: yet he never lost his perspective on the purpose of my visit. After all the necessary paper work, he went with me as I drove my new white Hyundai showing me all incredible new extras. Never once was I pressured to purchase any extras. He was friendly without being obsequious. We talked about finance, purchase vs. lease and it all made sense. When all the fine points were settled, signed and delivered a few staff members saw me out to my car to make sure everything was in order and I was happy with the result: a very professional and caring team. In all my experiences with Oxmoor Hyundai, I have to say that this has been the BEST yet! Businesses who have associates that treat clients the way they do are considered an asset in my book. I feel fortunate too have a hometown dealership with these qualities right in my backyard.

The salesstaff was great,we agreed to get the price down to 202 to 212 a month which was accieved ,because im disablity ,and have a lot of health issues. But we i brought my wife in to add her name to the title, and we met BOB the finance manager, who i feel cohersed into a extended warrranty, that pushed the payment up to $259 amonth ,the more i said no,the more angery and intimidating he got,i knew how to deal with people like him ,i had been in building materials 30 yrs,but he freighten my wife, and i reluntantly sighned.I had plans to purchase my own warrrant when i knew i had the money, that would have covered the car the ful time i had the car.I love my car, this is my 4th car i purched since i started driving in 1970.I came back with hopes getting the payment we verbally agreed upon, but Bob replied i cancel the extended warranty, but payments would be the same $259 amonth so i keeped the warranty .They have a lot of great people there, but beware of Bob ,to me hes unprofessional and belong there at all with the other wonderful courtious sales staff. Thanks for letting me share my experience ,i would go there again, stick to price i can live and enjoy my car.Bobs reply was when i expainded my disability issues ,he replied THATS LIFE.Maybe so i enjoy everyone else, but i never want confont a aragant BOB AGAIN LEONARD MICHAEL SHULL 1/4/17 Purchased last Friday

I have purchased three cars from Oxmoor Hyundai -- Ive NEVER had a bad car buying experience with this dealership. They are professional and the experience is pleasant. This time I visited Oxmoor Hyundai purely for the sales event, but with no plan whatsoever to purchase a new car. I loved my 2013 Hyundai Elantra, had never had any problem with it at all. It was a perfect car. Im retired, so I went to the store just to hang out and do something different. Then I met Antonio Rodriguez. A sweet, personable young man who greeted me, and we started chatting cars, family, etc. Antonio is from the Dominican Republic, and is fairly new to Louisville. Within 45 minutes, I had walked the lot, and I tested a 2016 Hyundai Elantra - scarlet pearl red!! Another hour or so later, I was driving it off the lot!! Who knew!! Antonio was not a high pressure sales person, he was just a really nice guy, very professional and friendly, and I bought the car. I love this car - it has many bells and whistles that I didnt have on my 2013 Elantra - and I am really getting a kick out of getting used to the camera that allows me to see where I am going in reverse. Very cool stuff. Thats my story - if youre interested in buying a new Hyundai (this was my 5th Hyundai), go to Oxmoor Hyundai and ask for Antonio Rodriguez -- you will not be sorry!!
