We negotiated, and reached an agreement to buy a new 2016 Nissan Murano Platinum from Jeff Wyler Nissan, Louisville KY. The preliminary documents were all drawn up, and we were ready to go. Our credit score is quite high, and we were prepared to put 25% down in cash so we assumed all was a go. The General Sales Manager, Brent Mattingly was whom my husband had been dealing with and we assumed everything was as usual and customary in buying this vehicle. Once the negotiations were done, and paperwork drawn up, they indicated all we had to do now was wait for the unit to arrive from the manufacturer and it should be about a week. A week goes by but no vehicle, but we weren’t in a huge rush so it wasn’t a problem. The following week however, we get a call saying our vehicle was in so after work my husband stops by the dealership to finalize the deal. Unfortunately the unit they brought out had a different interior color than what we ordered. They said it was their mistake, made apologies, and there was another truck coming the next day, for sure our vehicle would be on that truck. Next day, no car, following day still no car so my husband calls and he feels like he’s starting to get the run around. On Saturday, March 12th, we stopped by the dealership because I had some questions of my own, but when we got there, Brent was extraordinarily rude, so much so it was shocking. He was so aggressive, and hostile honestly I was caught off guard, I really didn’t know what to think. It was a very strange and unusual experience. I have never been treated that way by a car salesman, ever. In the end, he said he didn’t know if or when our car would arrive and we could just call off the deal if that’s what we wanted. After the hostile treatment we just experienced we elected to do just that. We called off the deal. But once we left we had time to think, and we figured out what we believe really transpired. We believe because we negotiated such a good deal we were “bait and switched”. Our theory is they probably had another customer want the exact same vehicle as us, but perhaps they had not negotiated as good a price as we did, and so they sold them the car we ordered, but at a higher price and just kept telling us, our car wasn’t in yet. They hoped we would just take the one with the different interior color, but we didn’t. This is by far the worst auto transaction we have ever experienced. Jeff Wyler Nissan completely wasted our time.

Kim Clay I cannot in good conscience give 100% in any survey. Likely only 45%. Ive really been discovering the hidden sucker punches. Monday (the African American older guy that works in the office with Brent) was going over with me my options. My 1st question was . Is there any 2016s available?.. He said no. Wednesday while talking with Brent I had discovered that a 2016 leaf SL was listed on Nissan web site as being at the Jeff Wyler dealership. Brent in responses told me that car was in transit to this dealership but had been rejected. Brent then continued to insist that there was none available in the area. Even though Nissan still has the 16 SL listed at that dealership. Going through my emails this evening. Found a delivery email. In it contained a list of things that were said that was gone over with me concerning the car.. Problem is NONE of the things on the list were gone over with me . The initial at the bottom isnt mine either. Those are from a right handed person . Im a lefty. Nore was the car (filled up),batteries charged or tires inflated properly . Which contributed to my revisit to the dealership on Wednesday. In a nutshell, I was suckered into a car I didnt want or like . Made sure I stayed in this vehicle after I expressed the problems I have with the vehicle, no more than 40 hrs after receiving the vehicle. I cant in all honesty express bad without saying the good that happened also. Brent did do a lot to help me be comfortable with this vehicle. The leather , polycoating , the money back. Him and Dereck both seemed attentive to my concerns on Wednesday. Getting the leaf tech to do a diagnostic test of the vehicle. Helping me go forward with my cancellation of the previous warranty contract. Does the good cancel the bad ? Does one out way the other?.. Dont know the answer. I do no that no matter what the % rate the loan is. Spending Large amounts of money on a car( yes spending 30k on a vehicle is a lot to me)..Having issues of any level . Doesnt make for a good buying experience. Thank you for your time. Matthias Crenshaw

I purchased a 2010 Nissan Altima, in which they included a 3 year, 36,000 mile power train warranty. Seemed like a good deal, considering the car only had 45,000 miles on it. It took less than a week before I started noticing things werent quite right. This is the second car Ive bought from Neil Huffman, and when issues with the first one started popping up, they were immediately taken care of. No questions. This time around, no such luck. The first week, I noticed uneven tread wear on one tire. In the inspection, I noticed where they replaced the struts and bearings, and also checked for uneven tread wear. To me, this is a safety issue. Bottom line, they would not replace it, but tried to sell me 4 new tires. The next week, I went to change the air filter. About 2 cups of bird seed dumped out as soon as I unclamped the hose. I saved the old filter to show the tech what I found, and guess what? Around in circles and a plethora of justifications as to why. I was told this happens all the time by the head tech, but everyone else was confused and never seen anything like it. Week 3.... The brakes. Probably the most important component of any car, right? Definitely falls under the category of "safety related repairs", right? According to them, their inspection consists of checking the brakes, and you cant avoid it especially when changing bearings and struts. My girlfriend was told that they were the original brakes, and never mind that their grinding now, but it would only cost me $250.00 for the front and back EACH!!! Folks, this is just 3 weeks into having the car. Rest assured, I will not be bringing my business back unless it is made right and not keep getting jerked around.

This was truly the most unexpected experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership. So unexpected, I ended up leasing 2 cars from this place. First, they were extremely easy to work with and very conscious of my time. I was wanting to trade out of my SUV and lower my payment. They put me in a new pathfinder and lowered my payment considerably. I was surprised how easy they were in working with me to do so. There was no going back and forth. As a matter of fact, the general sales manager had all the figures worked up before I even got to the store and looked at the car. We did it all by email! Once I agreed to their proposal, all I had to do was come in, drive the new suv, while they looked at my trade (however they already appraised the car before I got there), by the time I came back, the paperwork was printed and I was out of there in 40 minutes! I enjoyed the process so much, I decided to do the same with my wife’s car! I leased 2 vehicles from them the same day, and spent a total of 1 hour there! Yes, they gave me a great discount off both the cars, and gave me MORE than KBB book value for both trades in order to get to the monthly payments I needed WITH NO HAGGLE! I was shocked. I told them what I was trying to do, and THEY DID IT! I kept looking for a “catch”( Some kind of hidden fees or something). But there wasn’t any! I was a great deal. The salesperson was very knowledgeable about the cars, however, the general sales manager (he worked up the numbers) was very easy to work with. He knows customer service. That’s hard to find at most car dealerships. I highly recommend working with him and his staff. I highly recommend buying a car from this place.
