My friend and I were here just a few hours ago. She describes her experience as traumatic and hurtful, and scary at the end. Somehow despite 2 cashiers trying , no one could explain the rewards program and since she was on her way to a funeral she didnt take the time to get her discount on fuel. She was already having such a bad day. She did purchase some food from the sale bin. Food that was expired and was meant to be on sale for 50% or more off. When she left she discovered on her receipt that she had been charged full price for out of date food that she didnt even want. Something to do with the reward program. Sick of the bullshit we returned to the store and attempted to return the expired food. At this point we met the manager who stated his name was Jacobi and that he was general manager. He was so rude and disrespectful. He refused to return stuff, despite having just bought it. He did not take responsibility for the actions of his staff or for his store. When my friend asked for some leniancy and understanding, she explained she was on her way to a funeral, he had the audacity to laugh. He continued in a condescending and hateful way until she left the store. Instead of letting this go he FOLLOWED HER outside. This was both intimadating and scary. He continued to laugh and let her know that despite having took his picture, there was nothing she could do to find justice in this situation. It was a horrifying and completely rude interaction with someone who stated he was leadership of not only this store, but several others. Following her from the store was a measure of intimidation completely uncalled for. I implore you the owners of Mapco to look into this situation and contact me if you have anymore questions. I will also be putting this review on Yelp with his picture. Women beware when entering this store. This man is intimidating and cruel. Just do yourself a favor and visit the always professional Thorntons across the street.

I have gotten bad gas from here on multiple occasions. Brining this to the attention of their unknowledgeable and untrained staff was useless and had to add fuel stabilizer at added cost to myself. They do not honor their in-store prices that are listed, only what their computer says. Also they cannot handle returns unless a manager is on site. Overall, very inefficient and they do not treat their customers well. This location is convenient for me, but I will not be returning. I will use the Kroger across the street.

Customer service is awful. The pumps hold $75 on your account most of the time for 7 days and occasionally 10. Managers on location and Corporate office is unwilling to help if you overdraft because of this outrageous fee. The lights all around the building are constantly flashing for some reason which is A) annoying and B) dangerous to customers as well as passers-by with a seizure risk.
