Unreasonably expensive. I cant comment much on the service -- the guy on the phone was friendly, so I cant knock them for that. But the prices are so high here that I felt the need to steer people away. I called for pricing on a Dymatize Elite Gourmet protein powder, and they were selling it at 100% full retail price at $74.49. The Elite Gourmet line, if you read reviews online, is known for having an excellent price point for a good balance of versatility, effectiveness, and taste. Cant bring myself to buy it at full retail when the last tub I bought in Houston before moving here was under $40. The Vitamin Shoppe on Nicholasville Rd. (which used to be the "expensive store" for me in Houston, was selling for $46 and change. Ill be going there today instead. Just a heads up for the price-conscious.

Dont go in expecting the lowest prices, GNC is not that and has never been that. Ordering online in bulk is the way to go if you know what you want/need for the foreseeable future. What GNC is for is harder to find supplements locally along with in-store expertise and service. The items cost more than online, but thats basically what brick and mortar stores are these days.
