Please note that the Salvation Army is supposed to be a place of shelter and hope. Well, heres My opinion: I am a member of my family of five, that stayed at the salvation army on west main street. When we arrived, there was an immediate problem...The Social Wroker! This guy wanted to help us with housing, but we had already had a plan for that.Than thats when all hell broke loose! He then started barking at me about getting a job. No problem. I got a temporary job at Labor Ready. For the social worker, that wasnt enough. He kept on barking and whining about me working more than I was. This went on for almost the whole month we were there. Then things took a turn for the worst. He then reported to the social services that my children appeared to be malnourished. We were forced to take them against our will to the medical center where the doctors or whatever you want to call them found a few little nutritional problems. That was enough for the social services to take my children. Now my wife and I have to jump through hoops to get then back. We have not had any problems with all other staff at the salvation army. In fact, every monitor on duty there supported me my wife and children: Food, Pampers, Soap, You name it! They helped us out a lot, but this evil, bragging social worker at the salvation army could not stand to see a happy family and decided to tear us apart...he succeded...and I hope hes happy. I have tears in my eyes, so Im going to have to stop here. I just want anyone who reads this to know the truth about the problem at that shelter.

These people have no morals, the staff. Their not there because they care, only to collect a paycheck. They dont help you.
