Long has Wichita needed a place for the late night sweet tooth (but not overly). This place is still new (11/1/2016) and has lot to be added before it is a complete experience. However, they are open for business today and despite being a little sparse, it is showing lots of promise! I have visited twice so far. I was the first (so I was told) to try their sweet potato pie! Very good, very different. Perfect for fall! I also enjoy a good iced mocha and the one I had is hard to beat! Not overly sweet, and made with quality chocolate, possibly organic. Both were satisfying after a long walk at the park. I cant wait to try more soon! The atmosphere is both modern and rustic, a welcoming mix of wood, old brick, glass and metal. Great for solo relaxation and conversating with friends. The WiFi works, but well see if it struggles when there is more people there. More pictures to come!

Ive been to Milk Float a couple times with friends, its a great place! Its hip and trendy, super hipster. From the pour over coffee served on a plank of wood as a tray, to the chalkboard wall near the bathrooms to write your thoughts, to the guy with a man bun behind the counter asking you how your day had been as he serves your dessert, this place has all the best of the Millennial generation. Being a Millennial myself, I just love it! The made fresh daily baked goods are a special treat! Weve sampled several menu items, including a Key Lime Pie that was garnished with gold leaf, everything had been exceptional! Cant wait to go back! A great place to have a treat, some coffee, and a great conversation with a friend. Its location in Delano also cannot be beat. Try Milk Float! You wont be disappointed!

Really cool modern dessert and coffee place! Took my family who was visiting Wichita here for dessert after a healthy meal at Lotus Leaf and it was a great time. The 3 and 6 year old loved the ice cream and the childrens books that were there, while the adults enjoyed a wide selection of goodies from an espresso shake to pie and shortbread poptarts. Only thing still desired is a more cozy atmosphere. Inside is very open and it can get loud when its busy.

Crazy hours of operation, Owner opens shop when they feel like it! This is a coffee shop that opens at 12 PM on weekdays. Even more unbelievable, its not open at least limited hours on Sunday!? Since its located in Deleno, less than 1/4 mi from Downtown, I thought Id swing by in the middle of the week for desert & coffee... guess not.

The coffee was great, the presentation was fun and environment was ok. I was very excited to have a dessert place in town but found the 3 desserts we sampled to be very dry. That was disappointing. The place was also filled with lots of kids. Kids consuming a whole bunch of sugar lol No need for me to rush back anytime soon.

Disliked the service. Was stared through, cut in line, and never served.. Not even a word spoken to me as I stood there waiting to be served. Not even sure what the food taste like. Ended up just walking out after being "ignored" sucks too cuz everyone else has had a good experience and says its good. Guess Ill never know

Helpful and informative staff. Fresh baked goods every day; cake, pie, tarts, cookies, and seasonal specials. Good selection of teas and coffee and espresso drinks. Warm and welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Tables for large and small groups. Also a good place when on your own.

Theres kind of a "granola" vibe here much like what Ive seen in places like Seattle - its nice to have that here. The food was good, especially the strawberry poptart. Unfortunately it was a bit on the dry side - I think its designed to go with coffee or the like.

The owner is so nice and will happily speak with you. The bakes goods are fantastic as is the coffee. The owner tries out different blends from local producers too so you can try different things. If you havent gone, definitely check it out.

Good coffee and desserts. The cakes could use some work as well as the soft serve. Everything else though was great. Love the Lego wall and the atmosphere. Service staff seemed a bit flustered during rushes. Few spills, no big deal.

We went 30 minutes before closing so they had run out of many items. However, the gentleman at the counter was very helpful. We bought one brownie and he gave the last piece of brownie on the house! Awesome people, amazing food!

A fun place for a cup of coffee and a gourmet dessert. The name had me preparing my palette for ice cream, but what they serve are rice krispie treats, slices of pie or cheesecake, and coffees and teas. Delicious!

It was a nice place when loads of seating. We unfortunately didnt enjoy anything we ordered. My husband had a latte and soft serve and I had a cookie and cake. All were very simple, you could find it anywhere.

Mediocre food, High Prices, Slow Service, Dirty Tables... Milkfloat is average at best. Cool location, in the Deleno District. Plus the building has a industrial retro vibe, I hope it can turn around.

Just meh. Kind of spendy and some machine was down (I think the soda or ice cream machine) when we visited, so we werent able to try a milkfloat. The homemade apricot pop tart was good, though.
