Im Sammye Hoss, a very short woman. I ordered an electric rocker/recliner from Hickersons because of my size--it seemed perfect and I was pleased to be able to select fabric to match my home. When I got it, however, it didnt fit me like the floor model. We live 2 hours west of Wichita, so we had to pick it up and didnt know it was wrong until we got it home. Plus, the motor allows the chair to drift from the set position. I hauled it back there, and the "gentleman" in charge was really rude, when I dropped it off as well as when I picked it up. They did repad it to fit me better. BUT, although he assured me they checked the motor over and over it did the very same drifting the first time I sat in in after we brought it back home. Will never do business with them again.

I was in need of furniture after a long deployment, went to 5 furniture stores in Wichita, and Hickerson Furniture had the best selection I had seen in Witchita. Awesome clearence section for those of us who want quality furniture at reasonable prices. They were able to work with my tight time schedule and accomodated their shipments to fit my couch in for next day delivery.

Save yourself the headache, and shop elsewhere. They do not sell quality furniture nor do they stand behind their products. They treat their customers like dirt (after they get your money). They do not try to keep customers, rather they are rude and lack common decency.
