I went in this morning and purchased a system, several games, and a new spare controller. I asked the cashier ryan if the controller was any good, he said he hadnt used it but if I had any problems I could bring it back. When I got home to play it the new controller will not work on certain games, it seems to not work on games that support multiplayer and on games that support controller pak. I tried to return it as this is a flaw with the controller, and the games work with any of the other controllers. They tested it and couldnt replicate the issue so they would not let me exchange it. I dont know if the employee wasnt trained properly or if that is how they are trained to treat customers. I will only return to speak with the manager, do not spend your money here.

I really like this place because I would rather buy a used game and play it when I can than rack up late fees on a rental. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that the rewards program they have kinda stinks. After spending $100 you get a $14.95 game free but most games are just over that price on XB1 at least. They are unwilling to let you pay the difference, they say to check back cause prices always change but they rarely do I have been waiting on 1 game to drop roughly one dollar for over 6 months.

Game Xchange used to be a nice retro gaming store. Now its turned more towards modern gaming. Its a joke how many systems are no longer in stock, anything Sega is gone outside of some sports games. So if your lucky enough to find the system your after, If it is older than the gamecube, PS2, or Xbox they only got sports games for it or overpriced good games. Shame to see such a good store turn out like this, will not be returning. Go to Buybacks or CDtradepost if you want retro games not this joke of a store.

One of the last bastions for old games in Wichita! You can find everything at their littler shop from NES games to GameCube. Though recently they have stopped dealing with Game Boy and Game Boy Color games they are still the only place that constantly stocks games of old. You can also find a nice array of Used and New equipment at a very reasonable price.

I went in to buy two N64 controllers and the guy told me I could bring them back within 90 days. I opened them and tried to play games on them and the analogs barely move. The controllers were terrible quality. They wont let me return them because there are "no defects" even though it has only been 5 days. They basically trap you to keep your money.

Called today and a guy answered, I asked for the manager and he hung up. I called back again and asked for the manager again and he rudly commented she called in, call tomorrow. I called the day before asking for her and he said she would be in the following day. He has horrible customer service. still waiting to get ahold of the manager.

Bought a retron 3 the controller wouldnt work and tried taking it back only to find out pretty much they trap their customers so they can keep their money so if you buy something and doesnt work and thats the only thing you went for and nothing else there you want then you pretty much threw your money in the trash

Very small amount of inventory, especially when comparing it to the other Game X Change locations Ive been to. It appears that this store might possibly be going out of business with the little amount of games they had.

Perhaps the best retro game selection in the city. Other retro stores are chopped full of sports title garbage. This one has actual games that people want. Ive bought a lot of titles there and have been pleased!
