Over the past few days I have visited each of the 3 Wichita locations and to put my feelings in simplest terms I am in love! Pure Elation! I have a nearly 3 year old who absolutely LOVES books and story time and I have been trying to expand our home library. However, books are expensive! I googled used books stores and discovered the jewel that is Book-A-Holic. I had never been in this store before. I went to the Oliver location on Sunday and they had a fantastic selection! My son and I picked out 5 great books. The next day I discovered an amazing coupon online which motivated me to visit the West and North West locations. I found ALL kinds of great childrens books! Everything from the classic favorites to Bob the Builder and even older books that my mom used to read to me! With the coupon I was able to get a remarkable deal on all the books I purchased (a total of 20) and I feel like I won the literacy lottery. The staff was very kind and helpful at each location and each location had such a great selection! I have to be honest, without the coupon I could never have purchased so many books. I do feel that their prices are slightly high for a used book store but that wont stop me from going back. I do hope they run more specials in the future! I cant wait to go back and find more great books for my son and some for me too!

Ive shopped at Book-a-Holic since way back when they only had ONE location. Theyve REALLY grown from one to several locations, and theres a reason: They are GOOD. They have a great selection at very good prices. I have dealt with ALL of their staff from the owner on down and Ive never, even once, felt that they were rude, unprofessional or unhelpful. Every time Ive needed anything theyve done all they could to help me. (( I dare say that those that say otherwise ARE with a competitor )) IF you like books, you owe it to yourself to check out book-a-holic!! If you do, youll be hooked! John H.

I love Book-a-Holic. Ive been to the S. Oliver and the Central and West St. locations. The one in Parklane (S. Oliver) is huge. Very good selection of historical novels, biographies, history and much, much more. Before you go to Borders or Barnes & Noble try out Book-a-Holic. You will save money and may find treasures youll never find at big retailers.

Such a nice place. Really nice staff. Stopped by a little over a week ago with my 3 kids. 12, 10, and 1. And they all very much enjoyed it as well as myself. Staff was great and even had patience for my excited squealing 1 year old. We live 2 hours away but my kids cant wait to go back. Books and DVD selection was amazing. Great finds!

As a homeschool mom I am always looking for books and Book-A-Holic is the place to go! They are very friendly and helpful and so far I have found many of the books I have been looking for! Goodbye Barnes and Noble and Borders! The only place I will spend more time at is my local library! Tonia B.

Im a huge book-a-holic and this place has a beautiful book selection. And best of all they have amazing prices on almost every one of their books. When i go into this store i have to have someone with me to drag me from the store so i dont go over board. Great store and even better employees.

I love this place. We didnt have a Half Price Books in Wichita, so I gave this one a try. It did the trick. The selection of fiction is pretty good. They dont track what they have, just like HPB, but its organized well so its not a problem to find what you need.

I have been going to Book A Holic for years! The staff is super friendly and they are always willing to help. When I am looking for new books to read they always suggest some very good reads! I go once or twice a week! I will never shop anywhere else!

Good store with a great selection! The staff at the east side can be rude at times (usually the older ones) but they do have a ton of books so just try to ignore them and get on your way. Michelle at the west store is very helpful and nice!

A gem of a place with such friendly people! I went into the place unplanned today and was amazed!! The whole are exudes an old world charm and you are taken to another time :) Im sure ill keep coming back here.

They have a wonderful selection of books. But the last couple times Ive come in the staff has been very rude and unhelpful. The other locations in town are far kinder and have just as many wonderful books

High ceilings, wide plank floors, a really cool spiral staircase. The cafe is so cute and the service is great. I really love this place. This is great place to come back to again and again.....

They dont give you very much at all for your for your books. You can do better by having a garage sale or taking them to a flea market. Will not go back again.. Not even to go buy a book there!
