I took my 5 children there ages 4-11. It is nice because they were able to see them all at the same time. The receptionists mainly spoke spanish and I had a difficult time understanding them. There is a large room with a movie playing and about 30 chairs while you wait to be called back. There is also a play area for toddlers with some toys. The dental assistants were nice to my children and treated them well. However as I watched from the room (it is a large room with 6 or 7 chairs and a place for parents to sit) I felt like my kids were being herded from the xray room to the chair to the cleaning. It didnt seem very personable. After their cleanings the dentist came in and did a quick check of each child. If youre looking for convenience to get them all in and done, this is a great place. I just felt it was a bit too impersonal and would rather be in a smaller more friendly office. We also went there for eye appointments and I was less than impressed. While the assistant and the doctor were nice, the ladies at the front desk were not helpful and seemed annoyed by my questions. Then to make me more frustrated with them, they scheduled us (without my permission or knowledge) for a "courtesy" yearly appointment the following year. I had no idea we even had appointments except that they called me while we were out of town and told me they needed to reschedule my appointments that were supposedly the next day. I felt a bit like they were trying to take advantage of my insurance company and me.

I really wanted to like this place, even though all the other reviews are correct. Some staff members are rude and you will wait well beyond your scheduled time. If you have more than one child it is impossible to schedule them at the same time or on the same day, and if you want dental & vision together.. .forget it. I am upset because I signed a treatment plan for two fillings that were supposed to be tooth colored. After working on my son, I learned that they only worked on one tooth and placed a large silver crown covering the entire tooth which was NOT explained to me. And I would not have consented to putting silver in my sons mouth and making him look like a thug! They said that was the only option. The side of the silver crown has a visible number on the side of it! Seriously?? I am an RN and I dont disclose that when going to the doctor/dentist/eye doc but in this case I wish I would have. You ALWAYS have the patient sign the consent form BEFORE the procedure. In this case they placed this crown and then asked me to sign the second consent after. If I would have known what they were going to do, I would have at least sought out a second opinion. I believe that this office took advantage of my insurance knowing it would pay for whatever they wanted to do, and undermined my education thinking I would believe whatever BS they told me about why they did it.

Ive been bringing my children here for quite some time and as this place has expanded and taken on more clients, it has gone downhill. I love the vision side, theyre always quick, professional and helpful. The dental side however, makes me cringe. THEY ARE NEVER ON TIME AND ALWAYS RUNNING BEHIND. Some people have to return to work after appointments or may have other things to tend to. It is now over an hour past our scheduled appointment time. What is the point in even making an appointment? This place is a joke. They will blow your phone up everyday to remind you its that 6 month mark for appointments, but cant even get you in even around the time you set the appointment for. Also, let me add that more times than not, you have to schedule the appointments so far out because theres nothing available for both dental and vision on the same day, so essentially they want you to take 2 days off to come to the same place. Its ridiculous. I used to love this place but will be considering other options for my children. The dental receptionists dont even acknowledge you when youve been sitting here so long after the scheduled appointment time. This place used to be my favorite but I absolutely hate coming here. Just like every other company that starts small and expands, you forgot your customer service and professionalism too.

Our experience with Adventure Dental has been less then pleasant and very frustrating. The only I enjoyed was the décor but that clearly is not important when it comes to your childs oral health. First, they give me a care plan and I schedule for the work to be done. We show up and somehow the quote has changed significantly, and not for the better! I was always under the assumption that dental work is pre-certified through your insurance prior to work being done. My son has the work done in two visits, their choice not ours, which did nothing towards putting my son at ease. (the dentist we go to now says that the work they did should have easily been done in one visit) As I am paying for the 2nd visit, they try and charge me again for the total charges including the first visit which I had previously paid for. They argued me down and luckily I had the original receipt still in my car! Lastly, 4 weeks after having 2 fillings done my son is still having intense pain in one of the teeth they worked on! It wasnt even anything really involved such as a root canal or something! Everything in dealing with the staff at this office has been difficult, such as having a simple receipt for service emailed to me!! THIS PLACE IS MORE HEADACHE THAN THEY ARE WORTH!!! This place is the worst dental office yet!! I went in to get a cleaning and a check-up and they were very unprofessional!! Apparently i had cavities all over my mouth ( which i didnt really). i felt like they just made it up just to get more money out of my insurance! so then we came back to have the work done on my teeth. they caused so much pain and even left a few teeth without fillings. they didnt apply the anesthesia correctly so it was so painful. it didnt kick in till after the appointment when i was suppose to take a driving test.i didnt notice that they had done such a bad job until after I tried drinking some cold water. So we went rescheduled an emergency appointment and the lady even got annoyed when we told her that it wasnt filled. she said that she was the doctor and that we didnt know anything. She then shaved down my teeth and caused even more pain and didnt fill the teeth she was suppose to. NEVER AGAIN AM I COMING HERE AGAIN!! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WAN Permanent DAMAGE TO YOU TEETH! i had always had great teeth never had a cavity in my life and now i have a mouth full of permanently damaged teeth!

I really like the place. Its clean and the play area is welcome as I can 2 toddlers. The problem is I have to constantly watch them to make sure someone with larger kids are not letting them jump off of things and kick around. More than once I have had to not let my kids play there while waiting because of this. I know that it is not the staffs fault but I guess it still factors into a persons experience. Sometimes I have to stand at the front while they finish what they are talking about and then wait on me. Its like that in the back as well. The dental side do this and I have never had a problem with the vision side. Most of the time the dental staff in the back are nice and professional its just sometimes they stand around while you are waiting when they said that they were getting something and while a toddler the longer we are there the worse it gets. All in all they just need to change out a few people and it will be a great place to go again.
