I am updating my initial review. This store has different management now, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I am keeping my initial review below as a warning to companies not to hire incompetent people with bad attitudes. It *will* be noted. ................................. The first time I went to this store, two clerks were at the front chatting. Didnt acknowledge me as I walked in. (Its not about *me*; its about customer service.) When I went foraging around seeing how I might make some photocopies, eventually one of the clerks looked at me, then looked away. When I got to a copier and started fiddling around with how to use my USB with it -- something I have never done -- nobody came to help. So, I went to the chatty clerks and asked for help. One of them looked like I had ruined her day, came over, and....to make a long story short....was marginally helpful. Spoke a few things then left to go chat again, so I had to go get her again. Shockingly bad service. The next time I went to this store, someone asked me while copying if I needed help, which was normal customer service -- what a normal, competent business should be doing, nothing special -- but I had it figured out the second time around. I only go here if I have to copy something on Sunday from USB flash when nothing else is open. And I avoid the staff because I dont trust this place. Two chatty, rude clerks compared to one helpful clerk -- the manager of this store is obviously incompetent, so I regard the whole store as not to be trusted, not to be relied on. Only good for DYI tasks. The UPS store across the street, however -- that is a competent, well-run place.

Truly some of the worst customer service Ive experienced. I had four 50lb packages to ship that I had neatly packed and strapped. The man at the counter did not acknowledge me as I waited for a drop-off receipt. He grabbed each package single-handedly by the nylon strapping rather than picking up with both hands, and pulled up some of the packing tape on each box in doing so. Each package was just basically thrown on top of each other without the slightest care. When he finishd scanning the labels he told me the tracking numbers had been used before and that they could not be shipped. I explained that I had just printed the labels on my computer just 10 minutes ago. He said there is nothing he could do. I asked "really? nothing you can do?" He said youll just have to call 1800 GOFEDEX and reconfirmed that there was nothing he could do - even though there we both were - at a Fedex Store. I have shipped several packages at this location and hear the employees give the "youll have to call 1800 fedex" line to customers all the time when there is a problem. I asked him to find out exactly where my packages had been shipped to if I was using a used tracking number. He looked into it and realized that as I was bringing in the packages one at a time, another employee had already scanned them, and this is why it showed that the tracking numbers were already in use, and also why he was going to have me call Fedex to figure it on my own. Total incompetence, and he never appologized for his mistake nor thanked me for coming in. This Fedex location is a joke.

Customer service will often not help with the copiers. Instead of coming over, they told me to wait at the copier, then yelled over to ask me what I needed help on and what was the copy of before that they were busy in a personal converation. I told them, and they assumed that there was a copyright infringment, although I could prove it was in the public domain. They explained that even with authorization they could not do it. I was wondering that if I brought in my own work if I would have the same trouble proving it was free for me to use if the work also had copyright. Then they refused to do a job because it was a church bulletin (I needed just one or two copies) saying that it was "copyrighted". I explained that there is no copyright on a church bulletin. They asked if I had created it, and I said no but that it had no copyright. The service rep apologized and said that they could not print material that has copyright on it because there was text on the bulletin that they do not know the source. They were not real busy, I think they just did not feel like working that night. Other offices are friendlier and accomodating. I normally drive out of my way to the next FedEx office to not do business here. It is just too hit or miss there with the service. Also, price to fax from FedEx is way too high.

I just wanted to ship a package for work like I do everyday. I made the mistake of stopping here instead of going to my usual store on Metcalf since I was in the area. Never again. I was the only customer in the store. Terrible service. After 15 minutes of the manager "helping" me and having no clear end in sight, I left and went back to Metcalf and was in and out in 3 minutes. What is so hard about shipping a package? Thats what you do. At least she was nice.

Called to get a rate and find out what time I would need to drop off the pkg to get next day...after putting me on hold for a few minutes, someone came back on the line, mumbled something quickly, and transferred me to the main automated number. Wow....if I wanted to use the main number I would not have called the store directly. If you cant be bothered to answer 2 simple questions, I cant be bothered to use your services

My package is sitting at the local Mission FedEx office but the manager will not hold for me until 6 PM tonight. She plans to ship it back to CA even though I was never notified of its arrival and the current tracking information is wrong. How hard it is it to hold for a couple hours while I finish my job today. Guess I wont be shipping to this Mission store anymore.

Everytime I have used this FedEx they act like Im bothering them. I thought maybe it was just a bad couple of experiences, but no its every time. I drive out of my way to the fedex on Metcalf because they are personable and helpful. You cant underestimate the power of extraordinary customer service.

Theresa was helpful, went out of her way to ensure fax arrived, called promptly and had everything in place waiting for my arrival. I have utilized this facilities services 4-5 times a year. I have had to wait, but generally it is due to customers not being prepared when arriving to store.

The staff are helpful and friendly. Even when challenged they respond well. I also trust they have my best interests in mind. I drive a little farther to use this center, versus the one closest to my home!
