Extremely upset with my experience with jcpenny. There was a sign plain as day that said jeans on sale for 36.99 for levis and under that sign was a full display of jeans. From the get go they did not have my size as usual but the display model did. A cashier took them off the display and the previous manager offered 10 percent off the item since it was display and there was a small defect on the jeans. Now to the register I go I checked out with an old lady cashier who mustve had a case of the Monday blues because she had her symptoms on full display. When she rang up the item it said 39.99 so I proceeded to tell her nope sign read 36.99 and she said ok Ill have to go check and had to mouth "because thats what we are required to do". She came back and said no the only levis that are on sale were some other levi style number and so I gave her a coupon for 15% off and she shot me down again with the mumbo jumbo about no levis or nikes offer discounts and had to read the fine print out loud from another coupon when my coupon did not say such a thing and said someone mustve messed up on placing the sign where they did. So instead of giving me the sale of the item that they messed up on and confusing customers in the process and not to mention giving me a hard time about offering to accept the sale offer of 36.99 rather then 39.99 they missed out on a sale. So jcpenny, let me just offer my 2 cents to you by saying next time listen to your customers, make up for your screw up, stop with your confusing sales and upgrade to more kind employees who want to send their customers out the door happy. I will not even waste a penny on you!

Does anyone answer a phone there???? I have been calling for over 10 minutes. Pressed "0" 8 times to try to talk to someone since it is the online order department. No answer. Tried Mens (option 3), tried Young mens (option 7) Misses (option 2) Childrens (option 3) and FINALLY someone answered at the Childrens department. Patty was more than helpful and I VERY VERY MUCH appreciate her actually answering the phone. Its beyond ridiculous that I had to call and spend over 10 minutes trying to get someone on the phone by pressing 12 extensions before someone who gets paid to be there actually answered the phone. I dont think JCP was that busy on a Wednesday (also the first day of school.) at 11:20 in the morning that NO ONE could answer a phone. .

I love JCPENNY. However this store has THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I tried to call to ask a question. It finally picked up after 3 minutes of ringing and the lady didnt even know how to transfer me to another department.... Then I sat while it rang for ANOTHER 8 minutes.... Then the second person picked up the phone and immediately hung up again. I went through that whole process again- but instead of the second lady answering, it Finally bringing me back to the First Lady who said "they still didnt answer it?" And I said. No Ive been sitting on hold this whole time... Needless to say Ive been on this dang phone for almost 30 minutes.

I have a new favorite stored. Everything I tried on fit well, nothing like shopping at Walmart etc. I heard people complaining that they want new clothes, but the last ones they bought 5 yrs ago look great still. Great complaint to have! Lol

I love JCP. Sad that the company has been in such a tailspin over the past few years. Nice selection of young mens clothes, as well as dress up clothes. Generally, my go to place for shirts and ties.

The prices are good, but they only have like 2 places to purchase things, and there is always a line and slow slow slow people checking you out. Not worth the bargains to wait forever in line.
