Since the new owners have taken over this place no longer feels like home. I have been an avid shooter and frequently visited central range. The service at tri state archery is absolutely terrible. They ruined my 1912 shotgun by breaking a piece and did not offer to replace it. The gun came back with large scrapes and they mushroomed a bolt into the gun part. Then when my brother, sister, and I went to the range to shoot our guns the firearm representative treated us like we were idiots and gave me possibly the worst customer experience I have ever had. I will never go back to this range and I highly warn others to avoid this business. Unfortunately it is the only public range in Dubuque. After my experience here I will be joining Issac Walton in peosta. This place is no longer home and they have lost me as a reoccurring customer. Avoid this place it has become nothing but a nightmare. I miss the days of Joe and Craig.

Decent selection of guns and bows with ranges for both to try before you buy and the staff knows the products they sell. 20 yard range for non high power weapons. Usually plenty of room but there are only 8-10 lanes. Decent setup with powered target setup and retrieval. Worth the trip. Its my place to go to have some fun with friends.

Really old equipment and apparel a lot of it is from the late 90s early 2000s very dusty and still asking new price probably should let go of the past and worry about the future update to store lot more and throw away the old antiques

Ive used the range here. You cant beat the value. Had a positive experience. Take the one star reviews with a grain of salt. Sure, maybe their employees could perk up a bit, but its all good.

Very nice, intelligent, patient and helpful staff. Good stock options. Indoor range (sadly no high power) limited to rim fire and hand guns. Up to 2 shooters per lane if you like.

Okay selection and a decent shooting range. Very disrespectful to younger people and if you are a beginner dont even bother walking in. The previous owners were much nicer.

I go here for the pistol range. You may also zero you hunting shotgun with the range slugs they have in house.
