I always judge how good the customer service is, not only by my regular interactions with them, but by how they handle a problem. Last week I special ordered some flowers that I need for wedding centerpieces. Yesterday I got a phone call asking if I had come to pick them up, I had not. It appeared that they had mistakenly been put on the shelf and sold to someone else. The woman who called, Tiffany, did not try to make excuses or pass the blame, she apologized, sympathised and listed to what I had to say in trying to fix the problem. I asked ifmaybe another store (Moline) had them, and she said she would find out and call me back. She called me back within 10 mminutes to say they only had half as many as I needed, but shehad asked them to hold them for me and gotten them tto agree to the disscounted price my raincheckhad been for. Later, she called me again because they had not been put out and sold, just put in a different place in the back. She put them somewhere easy to find and I promptly went and got my materials. I am so impressed with how she handled the whole situation! Wonderful follow through, and follow up. That is how you treat customers!

So I came from the Dubuque, IA store because they were out of a piece of furniture that i was intrested in. I came to this store and found the piece of furniture I was looking for, I became super excited. But then quickly noticed the furniture was not properly working. The bottom of the slider would not stay in the track and was sticking out, and missing screws. I located a manager by the name of Dave, and asked if they had any other of this piece in the store he stated they did not and would not be getting more in. I then asked since the piece of furniture was clearly broken if he would discount the item. He kinda chuckled at me and said its a rustic piece so no. I shop very frequently at my home store and have never been treated so unprofessional ever! The fact that I can go onto their website and get a 40%off coupon myself and this poor excuse of a manager named Dave shrugs me off on broken furniture. .....wow is all I can say! I will never return to this store! And all I can say is what a joke, and corporate should really take a look at his poor enthusiasm towards his store and new customers!

Had a horrible experience today I went to exchange something and buy a few more items. The cashier Wendy had no clue what to do. She left out an item and couldnt ring it up so she had to get the manager, Pennie up there to help. The customer service manager, Jessica, had no clue what to do either. I was up there for over 15 minutes because these idiots didnt know what they were doing. It was very annoying and Jessica was a horrible customer service manager she was not helpful at all. And Pennie, what I am assuming was the store manager was not helpful either. She didnt even know how to work the cash register. Im so upset about my experience and I will be going to Michaels from now on.

I love a lot of the merchandise, but very disappointed that an American Christian Company would deal with China to make their items especially considering China is certainly not a free country and I would guess that there employees are over worked and not well paid. I also like to deal with Joannsfabricandcrafts and Michaels. The customer service is outstanding at Michaels and quite good at Joannsfabricandcrafts. I tend to shop at stores who treat me well and I in turn enjoy showing my appreciation for their service. I actually prefer patronizing a Christian Business, but not when they disappoint! me in their actions and reactions. The Christianity is not obvious.

Horrible experience my first time at this location. Wendy, my cashier, was completely rude. I had purchased several items at Hobby Lobby in Moline two days for a project at school. I had many items left over and went to Davenport to return them. Wendy could not find the items on my receipt saying that Moline must have rang them up wrong and that he items on there were not from the right department listed on the receipt. She was completely rude and said Moline causes hem a lot of problems. There should be barcodes on each item anyways, not just relying on your cashier to ring things up from the rift department. Done.

I do love the selection. But the prices are a little ridiculous. Also, the staff is always rude. Every year they put out a coupon in the paper around Christmas and it says it excludes sales items... (but literally everything in the store is "on sale" during that time) Oh, and they hike the prices up before putting an item on sale. I was watching a few wanted items for possible sales. The item i wanted was about about $30, went in the next week with the xmas coupon and my item was $1 more (and it went on sale) lol really?

Horrible! Check out process....no scanners! SLOW! I have been working on a project that required me to visit 4 times this last week. Every time it was super slow and no one cared! People in front and behind were complaining! Go to Micheals....I will from now on!
