After years of very limited yarn choices and having to travel hours to get craft and household decorations my first trip through the Rice Lake Hobby Lobby was like a trip to wonderland. I could barely tear myself away. I bought yarn, a unique scented candle and drawer pulls. Want to know my favorite part of the experience? Quiet. It was so peaceful and quiet. . . there was very, very soft music playing somewhere, but no tv screens, no ads, no yelling employees. All the employees were soft spoken, very nice and genuinely helpful and kind. Above all was the calming quiet. Thank you so very much and please never go away.

The checkout line was the slowest moving line ever! They had similar items placed in several different locations in the store, which made it difficult to compare them easily and choose which we liked best. The only positive was the help we received in the fabric section.

Very nice store, clean and bright. Everything seems well made. All kinds of decorations and craft stuff. A little pricey, but to be expected in this genre. They also run good sales. We got about $70.00 (list price) worth of items for about $35.00.

Checkout system is antiquated at best. Plu system was in use 30 years ago. Having to look up each item to see if its on sale is a waste of my time. It shouldnt take 15 minutes to check out 4 items.

A nice selection of items at a decent price, helpful and friendly employees. It would be great to see more items from other religions other than just Christian but its not that big of an issue.

Fairly to low priced craft items. Regular coupons and great sales and clearances regularly. The staff is great. Wish they were open on Sunday.
