I was completely terrified to try on wedding dresses. Though I had been relatively busy I think was I was subconsciously putting it off out of fear and insecurity. Even though I was scared I still wanted the first time to try on dresses to be an experience. I had heard about House of White and driven by it several times and thought it would be fun to start there. I asked my Maid of Honor to arrange an appointment and to invite my mother and bridesmaids. Even though I assumed I wouldn’t be able to afford anything in there I thought it would be special for myself and the girls. So I went there, not looking forward to it and thinking I was just going so I could get an idea of what style worked best. As my cohorts and I walked in you could hear the sigh of awe from each of us as we took in the beauty of the beautiful dresses and elegant atmosphere. We were warmly greeted by Andrea and her staff and felt very welcomed. They showed my “ladies in waiting” to the viewing room where they could treat themselves to apple cider and some sweet treats while Andrea and I discussed my general vision for my wedding and how I wanted my dress to fit in to the day. I could sense she immediately understood my vision and could see she was already pulling things together in her mind. One of my favorite aspects of my experience is that I didn’t have to go sifting through dress after dress on the racks. She showed me to my fitting room and started bringing back dresses she thought I would like. The first one was lovely, the second was beautiful, the third one was “The One”. As I tried the gowns and stood before my friends Andrea was there describing the details to me, the interesting little tidbits to each dress that contributed to its individual loveliness. She wasn’t trying to “sell” a dress, she was helping me find my dress. She was patient, understanding, kind, supportive and simply wonderful to work with. We all braced ourselves and held our breaths as my mother asked how much the dress was. After all, we were just there to look, to get an idea, certainly not to buy. The biggest surprise of the day just how reasonable the price actually was, but I still looked at my mom and said that we could keep looking, though my heart was already gone to this dress. The second biggest surprise of the day was mom’s reply, “Honey, if I were you I’d take the dress today and not wait another minute.” And just like that this Bride found her dream dress! I am very thankful for Andrea and the House of White family. They took something that I was dreading and made it into a genuine fairytale. I did end up going to one other place just to make sure I wasn’t jumping the gun, and my experience there was everything I feared would happen. It took less than 5 minutes for me to want to run out of there, never looking back. I toughed it out through a few dresses that couldn’t hold a candle to “my” dress and then went back to House of White to make it official. In my opinion House of White cannot be beat in any area! They not only raised my standards in wedding dress shopping but also those of my unmarried bridesmaids who unanimously declared their desire to go back for their own dream dress one day. I can’t say it enough, House of White is the best and made my experience one I will never forget!

Let me start off by saying how wonderful my FIRST visit to HOW was. It was truly magical.. The owner knew exactly what I was looking for and the first one I tried on was "the one". I was so excited for my dress to come in. My second visit was a COMPLETELY different story. Leslie helped me into my dress and failed to mention the built in bra wouldnt buckle because it was FIVE inches to small. I kept telling her it didnt feel right and that it wasnt supporting me. She, still, did not mention that she couldnt connect the bra. She just set me up with the lady that does alterations and said she starts out $300-$500. After I had already spent $2,500 on the dress that they measured me for. I found out at my next visit the cups in the dress were about 3 cup sizes too big. When the seamstress found out when my wedding date was she was silent and broke out in a sweat. I had to go back to newburg five times and the seamstress had to completely reconstruct the top of my dress. She also had to reinforce parts of the lace because they were hanging on by threads and on the verge of ripping. The dress they gave me was no doubt, of lesser quality. Everytime we had to deal with Leslie she was completely rude and acted as we were the ones at fault. And my mother even caught her giving us a dirty look the last time we left there. The woman who did my alterations is a miracle worker. If it werent for her, i wouldnt of had a dress for my special day. I will NEVER EVER EVER step foot back into HOW and i highly discourage EVERYONE from going there. Dont be fooled. Dont waste your time or money.

I cant say enough about how wonderful my experience was at House of White Bridal Boutique! Saying that I love HOW just doesnt cut it. I had such a wonderful experience that words cant describe! I found HOW through the Watters website and I am so glad that I called them first. I was extremely nervous leading up to my appointment and called probably three times with a variety of questions. My biggest concern was trying to squeeze into small sample sizes and feeling ugly during the process. To my surprise the first three dresses zipped right up. To all the other curvy ladies out there... There is a bridal boutique for you and its House of White! Jill and Andrea were amazing, kind, and professional. They truly know what they are doing and I believe that every bride would find her dream dress with their assistance. This place is so lovely, I didnt want to leave! I might have asked if I could move in and live among all the gorgeous things! I left HOW feeling beautiful and with my perfect dress on order! Cant wait for my perfect groom to see me in my perfect dress!

We love working with Andrea, Chris and the entire team at House of White Bridal Boutique. Usually, being a photographer, we have little to no interaction with bridal shops. However, a couple of years ago we kept hearing how our couples were so consistently impressed with House or White that just had to meet them. And now we are fans and friends too! They are wonderful through and through.

I dont think there is a word for how amazing and wonderful this experience has been. Everyone at House of White has been beyond great. The day I went in to look for the big day dress, I never thought I would find it. Andrea was amazing and when I found it, I knew. She was just so patient and sweet. I loved every moment of that day. When my dress came in (two months early!

These ladies were AMAZING! They went above and beyond the call of duty and really created an incredible shopping experience. I did not end up buying my dress here but there was a top contender here that I almost ended up with. Please visit this shop if youre looking for a dress.
