The ONLY reason I am being gracious and giving this place one star is that at least the flowers were pretty. I was delivered a faux Monet. Pretty from afar but nasty up close. So nasty, I had to removed the flowers to keep the stench from consuming my house. The delivery lady MUST be one who thinks its acceptable to smoke in the delivery van with the windows rolled up. This delivery was supposed to be my flowers for Mothers Day. When I got home I saw these great looking flowers (faux Monets) on the table (my husband had accepted them earlier from "Smokey" about 6:30 pm) and naturally I darted towards them to take a deep sniff. Thats when I literally gagged from the disgusting smell of the entire bouquet. It was as if I had an ashtray filled with stale nasty cigarettes in my face. My husband said he tried to air them out before I came home but clearly that didnt work out well. He said when "Smokey" delivered the flowers he felt like gagging himself at the front door. He couldnt wait for her to get back into her own smoke mobile. What the heck??? Look if you are in the business of delivering beautiful flowers to people for special occasions dont you think the vehicle you are using should be kept clean and smoke-free???? This is ridiculous. Who wants a bouquet of cigarettes, unless you are a chain smoker. I am so disappointed. My flowers are in the trash outside and thats just SAD. Happy Mothers Day to me ... NOT. Thanks Flower Shoppe of New Albany, thanks for ruining my special day. God help all the other moms that got the same lack luster service that I did. Hope you are taking notes.

I dont even no where to begin but maybe start out with i called talked to the lady placed my order and everything was perfect until my order was delevired I paid 130 dollars for 12 roses and it was suppose to have a mixture of flowers and I told the lady I wanted them to be perfect being that this would be the first time I wasnt home with my wife for v day and she assured me they would be amazing I also order a box of chocolate and upgraded it to the medium package well when they where delivered all she got was 12 roses and a 4.7 oz box of chocolate witch dont get me wrong the roses are pretty but they are not how I ordered them so I called and asked her what went wrong she was very rude and was just making excuses about why they wasnt what I ordered then hung up on me and as she hung up she called me a Jerk so I called back and she said I felt like u where being rude so at this point she actually seen my rude side.. these people are a huge rip off and very unprofessional and I wouldnt recommend to anyone

WAY OVER PRICED. I tried to give this small locally owned shop a try instead of going to a bigger store. All I ordered was a poinsettia and asked to have it delivered. The final bill for a poinsettia with a bow delivered was $56. The delivery fee (they were delivering literally 3 miles from their shop) was $8. So that means a poinsettia with a bow on it is about $46 once you take the tax off. It was a nice looking flower, but not $56 worth of pretty. While waiting 10 minutes to be helped, I browsed through the store and found everything to be insanely over priced (they had helium balloons for $12 a balloon). If you have extra money to blow pointlessly on decent looking flowers, this is your place. If you want a nce looking arrangement and dont want to break the bank, go elsewhere.

I always notice the shop from the outside when walking by. The shop is wonderfully decorated every season and I often end up inside even when I am just walking by to the cleaners or the Pie Kitchen. I have bought many items for my employees and family members there, Christmas candles, earrings, flower arrangements, small purses, outdoor lawn seasonal decorations, all kinds of items. If they didnt have enough of the items I wanted they often called the Louisville store and shipped them over. I have always had great service and felt welcomed. I have been coming to this flower shop for years, the ladies in there are always so nice and kind and very helpful. they make beautiful arrangements and both of my sisters used them as their wedding florist!! i plan to use them myself because they are always less expensive than anyone else and they are always beautiful!!!!!

I requested a delivery time from 1100-1500 with two day notice and they failed to make the delivery on time. The flowers that were sent, after my wife already left, were substandard. They were very pale in color and looked as if they were suffering from a lack of water.

Ive used these folks a few times. I always go in and tell them exactly what I want and how I want it and come back and pay them when theyre finished and I can make sure its what I want. The ladies were pleasant and accommodating to my wishes.

Rude people, laughed in my wifes face when she asked a question. I do not recommend them at all, go somewhere else.
