Went here a few months ago after reading the reviews. I read by the woman who was sold expired food and decided to go anyway, seeing as the review was from a couple years ago. As soon as I entered the store, the lady was pushing me to buy something. Not a big deal, just business. I thought that the food was a little overpriced, but I felt bad leaving without purchasing something, as she was slightly pushy. When I got home, I realized I had forgotten to check the expiration date. Much to my chagrin, the food had expired a few months ago! The next day I went back in, and the woman proceeded tell me that if I didnt keep the food, she would just give it to her pets. She was extremely hostile towards me, and I had to get out, unable to return the food. Do not go here! The same foods are sold at Petsmart, online, or at any other grocery store, and even better... NOT EXPIRED! I cant believe this place is still operating, what with dogs running around the store chewing up pig ears, and continuing to sell expired food for years on end.

Very knowledgeable about pet foods, however, tried selling me a bag of food that expired 7 months ago. Thankfully I caught it before I got all the way home. While she stated she feeds her dogs expired foods, she shouldnt assume everyone else does too. She said for the price I got it for, I should have expected it to be expired. I drove up to Uncle Bills and Petsmart in Fort Wayne and both places have it for $1 more than what she charged me. Buyer Beware!!! Check expiration dates on the foods before you purchase from her!

My experience at the Huntington Perfect Pet Food store has always been a positive one. Starting with educating me about the big box store dog food I was feeding my dog to helping me pick a much healthier dog food that has my dog looking and feeling great at almost 12 years old. They continue to work with me as my dog ages. I recommend the store to my family and friends for quality pet food and advice.
