Just left Fishers Walmart, very discouraged! I went in to purchase cleaning supplies around 9 am. When I went to the checkout lanes to discover that there was only one checkout line with a real person!! I guess theyve scaled back or dont truly believe in costumer service beyond the greeter! Which forces us to use the self service lines. My heart broke as I watched a young mother with her young sleeping toddler trying to self scan her 100 items of groceries. Many of us were frustrated at the lack of help available to the customer! I asked for a manager to complain and ask for help for this mom, none around. After I checked out I went to ask for a manager, had to wait to share my concerns. I then went back and helped this sweet momma with her sleeping toddler. She almost left her cart full of items but was trying to be productive and get her groceries done before she had to be at work by 10. I then helped her get her groceries to her car. Still shocked by the lack of customer service. I tried to call the management but guess what, none available! After making two phone calls and waiting on hold for quite a bit, I finally get to share my concerns. Walmart being a fortune 100 company can surely schedule more people to man their stores. I think they have forgotten what good customer service is! Or more likely, they probably truly dont care! Theyve got their fortune!!!! I then leave to buy my groceries at Krogers on 116th St. and Cumberland Road. WHAT A NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE!! They had a check out person, a bagging person, as well as workers all around the store that were over the top friendly and helpful. I was just shocked and disappointment at Walmarts lack of concern for their customer. It wasnt 3 in the morning it was 9 in the morning. Even elementary students are functioning at full speed by 9am!! Walmart take lessons from Kroger! They are ROCKING it! Sincerely, Misty Coster

My complaint is with the Tire and Lube service. The employees here must be either very lazy or are denying business to people out of spite for walmart I guess. I went in for an oil change and there were no other customers and the employees were enjoying their conversations. I submitted my information for an oil change and went to kill time in the store. About a half hour later, I check the scanner for an ETA and it reads "canceled". I go to the counter and the cashier says "No one called you? The paper doesnt say why it was canceled, let me get him". A guy comes up with her and tells me my oil gasket seal is blown and the engine is being covered in oil. In his words "Its splashing all over the place, I cant see anything and youd better keep an eye on the oil level". I was annoyed and not in the mood to argue with 6 pairs of eyes just staring at me, so I left. We keep our car in a garage and havent noticed any oil leak but went home anyway. The car wasnt low on oil from where I put in less than a quart a month earlier. But still worried, later, I took the car to a shop and they said there was a very small drip near where the engine meets the transmission, nothing big and I got the oil changed there. It is the employees prerogative to refuse me service. I just dont understand why they were either blatantly dishonest about the severity of my problem or if they were incompetent. Its not going to affect my over-all view of Walmart Tire and Lube centers because I have never had this happen before anywhere else. But I sure wont waste my time at this location again.

The Manager of the eye care department was very dismissive and gave me false information concerning getting your eyes tested for contacts. I recently went to Walmart to order new contacts and I already had a prescription for my contact lenses (that was not expired). I asked if it was possible for me to order colored lenses instead of the ones I normally order. The Manager responded "Oh youd have to get your eyes tested for those specific contacts weve got so many back there.." and waved a hand and walked away. Which initially I believed her.. so I ordered several months of my usual contacts (from the manager) a little disappointed. Later I called to check on the status of my new lenses and I asked about the color contacts again this time I spoke with a different employee. The answer was DIFFERENT, as long as my prescription was not expired I could order almost any type (INCLUDING COLOR). The manager was UNAWARE or just seemed to focused on walking away from me, rather than listening and providing any type of customer service, let alone valid information. This was the Manager of the eye care department who did not even know the policies of her own department. I am very bothered I wanted color lenses and could have ordered them but, because I was given false information (by the Manager) I ended up with a few months supply of contacts I really didnt prefer.

The store itself is fine (the layout is different compared to most Wal-mart Supercenters, so it takes a little getting used to), but the people attending the Tire and Lube Service Center are horribly unprofessional. I took my car in for an oil change at 5:45 pm and was told that there were 6 other people ahead of me, so I would have to come back another day as they closed at 7 pm. Seriously? If I am there well before closing, I should be able to get my car serviced. I understand if it would have been 15 minutes til close, but an hour and 15 min? Thats ridiculous. Since I needed to buy other things, I decided to continue on with my shopping. I left around 6:40 and there were absolutely NO other cars in the Tire Lube Service Center area. What happened to all the cars ahead of me? Dont worry, Wal-mart, youll never have to worry about me inconveniencing your employees who want to leave early. Ill be taking my business to Jiffy Lube from now on.

After having MANY horrible experiences at Walmart on keystone, i decided to drive 30 minutes to this one, well worth it! They have a better selection than most, A LOT nicer employees, & the bestest? A U scan, hell yeah! Thats less interaction with any possible rude employees, but so far, they seem nice. As long as Im n Indy for my work, Ill continue to shop there, no matter if i switch hotels & gotta drive an hour, Ill do it. After a few horrible experiences at the keystone one, like rude employees, for example: 2 months ago, an employee was running down one of the main isles of the store. He ran into me so hard, i about fell to the ground, i wouldve if i wasnt holding onto my cart. He didnt say sorry, he didnt say not 1 word to me! All i got was a dirty look, like i was an inconvenience for being n his way or something.... So yes, Im happy with choosing this Walmart! Keep up the good work!

NEVER EVER EVER go to their hair salon!! I even called days in advance and made an appointment. They did not call to cancel, but sure enough, when I got there, no stylist was available and they stated the one who was assigned to do my hair called in sick that day! URGH!!!!! Then when I called later (they told me to come back at 1pm) they said no one would be there until 3pm. I was going out of town so no way could I accommodate THEIR schedule. I asked if they have a policy for calling people to cancel, they said no. I asked if it is better to just walk in, they said they didnt know. Then I asked if it was better to come during the week and they explained (insufficiently I might add) that they dont have an actual policy. At your own risk, if you have to whole day to waste or you are getting a quick cut and dont care how it looks, DONT FOOL WITH THESE PEOPLE !!!!!
