Visited the store twice now and really appreciate how clean and organized everything is. Also, I love the shopping carts with the trays and drink holders. This is something I always get annoyed about because I often go and grab a drink somewhere and have to leave my drink in the car to go into a store and shop. Very cool. The merchandise looks nice but this is not Walmart prices. Closer to Target Id say. I was stunned to see a collection of Melamine dinner ware! And it was as expensive as the breakable stuff. It was pretty but pricey. Ive bought only a few items from the home section. The pillows I bought are awesome. Ive shopped dozens of stores for pillows because I have severe neck problems and everything is too fat, and/or too hard. Foam gets hot and hard after about 10 minutes. I found a set of fiberfill that worked perfect and Im overjoyed. And they were a bargain. Well see how it goes. I still have to hit the grocery section but one major drawback is I cant walk on that type of concrete flooring for more than half an hour. So....

I was so excited for this store to open in Evansville as I had visited several in other cities and found them to be fully stocked, clean, organized, etc. This store has been such a let-down in many aspects. Not only do they never have items on sale in stock, but the employees are rude also. My fingers were crossed that I might be able to avoid future Walmart trips, but it doesnt seem to be the case. Instead, Ill be avoiding Meijer.

So much better than that other store. We wont name names. The staff are all extremely friendly and nice and helpful. The registers are always all open and quick to get checked out whether doing it yourself or letting a cashier check me out. Its just a much better experience than Im use to. Prices and products are really awesome and the app for Android works great and you can clip hundreds of coupons! Its fun to shop at Meijer!

Staff is usually friendly and helpful. They have a much larger selection of items than Walmart does and as far as Ive heard, they treat their employees a lot better too. I just wish their plus size clothing selection a little bigger. Clothing quality, however, is really good considering the prices are fairly reasonable. All in all, I prefer to drive a couple extra miles in order to support this store instead of Walmart.

Love love LOVE this store! I use their pharmacy for all of my meds. They treat me with great kindness and know me by first name. I love the great things that this store sells. Their produce is fantastic as is their meat counter. $2 hot pretzels on Tuesday. They also offer a vision center and a Starbucks. Its a one stop shop for my family. I cant believe that they havent put Wal-Mart out of business!

I like the selection and products seem a notch above Wal-Mart. However, on several occasions I have bought chocolate there only to find out later when I open them that they had been previously melted. I also ended up with cottage cheese that was over a month expired! My fault for not checking the date when I bought it, I know, but I trusted that a store would sell only good food products.

Great place for buying essential goods. They are always short staffed when youre looking for help. The bakery food is some of the best in town. Meijer Starbucks is slowly but surely progressing. Starbucks service is sometimes good depending on what time you go. The pretzel mini cafe has great food. I highly recommend the pretzels. Overall, Meijer is one of the best supermarkets.

Awesome store not as competitive as Walmart in the produce section but it competes very well with Schnucks and other local markets like The Fresh Market very clean staff is very nice the only thing that kept it from being five-star is the fact that I have to check out my own groceries I like the personal feeling the store as opposed to the automated version of stores

Took a disabled vet to grocery shop. While waiting for him to get in a motorized cart, a lady employee standing inside the door yelled at my 3 year daughter before we got in the door. Turned around and left. If you feel like my child is doing something she should not be, you should speak to me about it, not yell at a three-year-old.

While the non-grocery part has not been useful for me, I really love the choices available in the ethnic food section. They offer different brands not found in other stores, and usually have my favorite brands of often bought items as well. I knocked a star off because the parking lot is a pitcher plant with the entrance and exit.

This stores amount of community involvement is incredible. As a pastor at Garvinwood Church, I have worked with them on several occasions when they have financially assisted with our outreaches. This generosity extends past management and into the employees. Oh, and the prices are super cheap, so their gift cards go a long way!

Went to the pharmacy because they were recognized under new insurance. I ask for certain brands of medicine because of gluten & lactose intolerance. They said that there were no guarantee of the medicine and maybe they could get it. So I will have to shop for a pharmacy that cares knows that they can get my medicine.

Prices are low as walmart but the quality and selection FAR EXCEEDS them! I love the website as well. Meijer brands are clearly marked if Gluten Free which is HUGE for me! I love this store!!!! If there is something i want, and they dont carry it, they do their best to get it. THANK YOU MEIJER!! Love you!

Meijer is an excellent place to shop. They have a good selection of items across the categories you need for your home. Although sometimes they are missing brands or varieties of grocery items that we find in most grocery stores. I also enjoy the savings that we get as members of the mPerks program.

Store is laid out great, but the restrooms are not! I cant understand why you build such a huge store and only put two stalls in the restroom. There was a line the day I was there, and it will be maddening come the Holiday shopping time. So; the restroom situation was not thought out well!

Price of meat is higher than other places. They have plenty of gluten free items. As a matter of fact, they have just about anything you want. The only downside is at checkout. There were only 3 carts ahead of me that were about half full and it took 30 minutes to go through.

I left my wallet in a cart trying hurry and get back to work. Luckily enough someone honest found it and turned it in. They were very nice! No hassle for my friend to pick it up for me. The way walmart around here is messing up makes me feel like Meijer is my place to shop!

Didnt care for it, bad lighting, easy to get lost and strange food, seems like I was on another planet in a Star Wars movie perhaps Tatooine. But, the watermelon was good and they had a sale on Lucky Charms so not a complete waste of time but, I wont be back.:-(

Service excellent. Grocery and wine selection very good. Didnt find clothing or housewares I wanted. I didnt have much time. I will return to check out more thoroughly. The staff was very impressive; right there to help find items and answer questions.
