More than a camping and hunting store... its a wildlife museum and retail amusement park! I speak on behalf of those folks who dont like to camp or hunt in any way: Do make a point to visit once in a while. Good: The whole place a full of eye candy. The center attraction is the aquarium that visitors can observe the underwater world from above and below. Taxidermy is on display everywhere. Its a great place for kids as they are always scheduling activities from indoor fishing to visiting a Santa wonderland during the holidays. In addition, the selection of housewares, gifts, and home goods is great... fun to browse. There is also a gift area comparable to what you might see at a zoo with items from souvenir shirts to toys. Good: I have experienced great customer service in the store. The staff is very knowledgable about the merchandise. This particular store is unique because it was built within a portion of an old shopping mall that was gutted and remodeled. Becoming its own virtual stand-alone structure, this Bass Pro takes up a two level space that previous housed small shops, an arcade, miniature gold, a movie theater, and a mini-amusement park. For these reasons, this Bass Pro is designed like no other. This is a fun place to visit whenever in the area.

Im currently walking out of the Bass Pro Shop in Clarksville, IN after poor customer service and have no intentions of going back. Ive not been in Bass Pro much because I personally think its overpriced. But, I thought Id give them a shot to sell me a new cooler. I went to the Camping section and as I walked into the section, the two customer salesmen walked away rather than greeting me like I would expect. So looking around I had several questions about the coolers and had to ultimately go find them to help me. They were in a corner of the section having a private conversation and I had to politely interrupt them in order to ask my questions. My questions were not really answered so I walked out in disappointment of wasting my time. My recommendation to management is to hire a trainer to come lead the team in serious customer service exercises. #lostacuatomerandasaleofayeticooler

In 2012 I took my son over to Bass Pro Shop, and he had the time of his life. All the boats all the four wheelers all the different types of activities that a young kid could do outside. He even took archery classes over at Bass Pro Shop. Now you fast forward it 2017 comma and unable to take my daughter who was the same age as my son back in 2012. She had an absolute amazing time at Bass Pro Shop. It is a true one-of-a-kind experience between shopping and all the amazing exhibits that are set up. All the animals that they have inside of the store and most importantly for me the fish. They have some of the largest catfish and bass Ive ever seen inside of a aquatic setting. Bass Pro Shop is and has been a first-class sports goods and hunting equipment and apparel shopping mall for 6 years for me and my family.

Terrible service. Clerks really dont know much about the guns theyre selling. Stood back in gun area for 30 mins without staff help, listening to one clerk shoot the bull with a customer and repeatedly say I dont know or Im not sure to others. Had only 1 staff for first 20 mins with customers lining the displays. When another staff finally showed up, he asked the other one who was next (as if he really knew) and he pointed to some guys that just got there. Then another staff showed up to put the lock bars across and I asked if I could see one before she put the bar across. "No youll have to wait until he can help you." I told her Ill just go somewhere else to buy it then and left. Never really liked bass pro anyway. Only went there for a free aquarium visit. Lol

Do your homework before you buy a gun from this Bass Pro. The salespeople have no knowledge of the guns. Went in to look at a Glock 43. I asked if it was double action like the Glock 19 (yes the G19 is double action). I was told that it was neither single or double action. They said it was striker fire. So I asked them what does single action and double action mean even though I know just to test their knowledge. They told me that double action means that the gun automatically loads the next bullet and single action means that you have to load the next bullet yourself manually. Really? For your own safety, please do your homework so that you know how a gun works and what you are buying.

Very nice atmosphere and plenty to see, making shopping more of an "experience." The visit is fun even if you do not plan to buy anything. Shopping for firearms, nearly every brand you could ask for is represented. Prices are a little high, but they do price match as long the item in question is from a physical store, in stock, and within 100 miles. Staff is friendly and helpful, but they dont hover. Overall, very good experience.

I LOVE THIS STORE !! Its a nature visit along with shopping !! A creek runs thru it, with fish. A large tank in the back with bigger fish. A wide variety of departments. Clothes, home dept including furniture for the outdoorsy type, shoes, hunting, fishing, camping, archery, guns, and BOATS !! I went on a rainy day, and it totally made me forget the bad weather and had me planning my next outdoor trip !

Love going to Bass Pro with my husband but maybe for about a half hour and then I get bored. I still wish they had left the restaurant open so there would be more to do in case you get hungry and want to grab a quick snack. I love going into the Big Hunt or whatever its called and shoot the laser guns only problem is most of them are off center. But hey, Bass Pro is a lot of fun for the hunters and fishermen!

Went for the Christmas events. Very disappointed no snowball throwing place. No carosuel. Then the ladies by Santa very unfriendly:( My grandson trying to talk with Santa and high five him and they just move him along. It wasnt even busy which made me more upset. Seemed like whole store not as decorated as much either. Quite disappointed from previous years coming there.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I came in looking for a rod/reel combo I saw on their website and they didnt have any pre-made. They went out of their way to help me. Pulled the rod and reel of the shelf, put them together as the one unit and made up a special sale code to give me the deal (almost $40 less than buying them separate).

I felt like I could not shop or look at anything without a worker over my back like I was stealing made me feel real uncomfortable made me not want to shop there anymore plus the cost of things was outrageous and what my husband bought was broke he didnt notice before we left the store and now we have to go back hated it
