College Mall is constantly changing. Stores come in, go out, move, etc. You have to visit the mall periodically just to keep track. They have been doing a lot of renovating in the parking lot. Hopefully, it will make it easier to get around the mall. I have never found parking to be an issue there. The mall is a good size, and is clean. It is a great place for walkers to go before and after work. Now that Sears is gone (and JC Penney long before that), Target is the only real department store left in the mall, sadly. I do not understand how a mall this size can accommodate three jewelry stores and two eye doctors, but those places have been there a long time, and they do not appear to be going anywhere. The renovated cafe court area is very nice. I appreciate having all the food establishments in the same location. I think there is a lot more seating available than is needed, though, and better use might have been made of that space. I suggest they add a small stage to the area where local school choirs, artists, etc., could perform - especially during the holidays. There is a huge empty space outside the Target. There used to be train and bungee rides, but those have moved out. I think it is time Bloomington realizes it is in Indiana (where it is cold more than hot, and rains an average of 45 inches/year), and offer something indoors for kids. The mall does offer coin-operated rides in two locations, which I appreciate. However, it could offer so much more. The only restaurant with an indoor play area in town is Chick-fil-a, and it is not very big. An indoor play area at the mall would be a welcome addition to Bloomington for all parents. Bloomington needs to step up, and fill the giant void that is indoor exercise opportunities for children. Other cities and towns across the country, and even here in Indiana, offer wonderful options: Eastland Mall in Evansville, Fashion Mall at Keystone, Greenwood Park Mall. Personally, I think Bloomington could come up with something even better than Columbuss Commons Playground (which is phenomenal). Whatever you are in the mall to do, make sure to make a stop at Anthonys Pets. Just looking at those cute little faces will make your day.

The Parking was good..Target store I would have to give them a 4 star..all through the store there was someone there to help if you need something. Prices for great I was able to go by shoes that was needed for neighbors childen that was in need of school shoes and clothes. Childrens Palace I just love that place five stars I was able to go by my nieces and my granddaughters & neighbor kids ..summer clothes to start school in.. its nice living in Bloomington Indiana Im a woman and Im not afraid to walk through the mall by myself Ive done it multiple times to take time out for myself and Im not afraid to Im not afraid to get hurt or get robbed or being attacked when I walk out because Bloomington police are trying their best to keep getting that tivities trouble makers off the streets and keep it safe for the women and children so we can go to college mall to take that time out for ourselves. But remember its always best at night to have a friend to walking with..old Navy is is a 4 star good prices on somethings. Great customer service..friendly..

Great mall. As a visitor to the area, I was impressed. The mall seems to be holding its ground very well. If there were any vacancies, I didnt notice them. The mall had a good size crowd--not too large, but enough to ward off any sense of a mall not doing well. The layout is sort of a L-shape with enough length to pack in all the stores that should please most any visitor. One of the anchor stores is a Target. This ia a "bonus" for Target fans. A Target at an incoor mall is rare these days and I thought it was a treat to find it here. The food court is average. Good, but average. This appears to be the only enclosed, mall in town. Another may not be needed. This one seems to do the job.

My husband and I had lunch at applebees here one day. The food was very good however my husbands ribs were way over done. The manager took them back to fix the issue but left all his other food and by time he got his ribs back everything else was cold so he wasnt able to eat. Not to mention I had already eaten so that my food didnt get cold either. Not the best of experiences. They diffently should have given us the option to eat together. We were there for a much needed date 2g without our 4 children so it wouldve been nice to be able to actually do just that. My food was very tasty though so kudos for that. Also it was affordable. 2 meals and drinks for under 30d is a decent price esp for us.

A small mall that rarely changes. For the past few years it has been the same shops selling the same things. There was a glimmer of hope when the GNC left but it was replaced with another fitness muscle max powder place. Now I hear that Aeropostale is closing but the candy shop is just moving into that place. At least the mall food court is a plus. Unless youre there on a Sunday when the chick fillet is closed. One less option. And now the Sears is closed and is going to be replace with a Whole Foods? Who goes to a mall for grocery shopping?

The mall was decent and very clean. Even though its in a major college town with a major university it reminds me of the Merced mall back in California. Being sandwiched in between two major cities seems to have affected the major box stores from coming here even though its a college town just like with Merced. If I choose UI as my school of choice my major shopping will be done either in Evansville or Indianapolis. Both arent that much further away. Overall its got everything that someone who cant travel would need though.

College Mall has pretty much everything you need. Its nothing flashy but has all the mall basics (Buckle, Yankee Candle, pet store, EB Games, forever 21) with a couple nice extras including a Dicks and a pretty nice Target. Plus lots of kiosks for eyebrows waxing, ear piercing, phone bedazzling, and buying large belt buckles. Its clean and the food court choices arent bad. If you dont like what you see there, a Red Robin, Chipotle, and Applebees right outside. The get some great holiday specials as well.

Probably one of the worst malls I have ever been to. This mall has nothing to do, not many shopping options, and if you do choose to go, you will never find anything new after the first time around. The mall itself is on the newer side and usually clean but seems only clean because its almost always dead. Dont recommend unless trying to get some quick shopping done. If youre looking to have a good time and go shopping, take the trip to Indy.

It is just such a small mall and things keep going out of business. I go for Target and H&M - the H&M is actually one of the better ones Ive been to - and every once and a while wander into the other shops. Sometimes they have little pop-up book kiosks which are a nice surprise. They have most of the shops that youd expect from a mall and it is clean. It is never crowded which is great if you like shopping in peace.
