We filed out their online credit application, of course we were pre-approved. Had several conversations over the phone with the same salesman every time. Each time I spoke with said salesman I stated how much we wanted to spend, what I was looking for, and that I DID NOT want to purchase a new vehicle as we did not want to make 6 years worth of payments. I was told over the phone that they could work with us, that they finance everybody, and that they had never seen an interest rate over 18%. Yesterday, my wife and I took the 45 minute drive out to the dealership and arrived there around 11:45 am. Upon arrival we met with the salesman that I had been speaking to on the phone. He immediately passed us off to a different salesman. He took the keys to our vehicle to do an appraisal on it as we were planning on trading it in. He told us that the appraisal wouldnt take too long. We stated again what we were looking for, what we wanted to spend, and that we did not want to purchase a new vehicle. He assured us that "it shouldnt be a problem" to get us exactly what we want. He ran our credit check, 25 minutes later he comes back and tells us that we have to get passed to one of their "credit specialist". He left our credit app on the desk while he went to get the new salesman. My wife noticed that there was an amount wrote on top of the app. Being in car sales before I already knew how much we were approved for as this was something that I did when I sold cars. At that time my wife received notice from her credit reporting app that her credit had been ran. Along comes salesman number 3! We went through what we wanted again. He assured us that as long as we were "a little flexible" that we could get into a vehicle that we would both be happy with. At around 1:30 we knew that we did not want to do business with this dealership. We both felt something was "off" and decided to look around the lot. There were not any cars around the amount that we wanted to spend, nor was there really any SUVs that we were interested in on their lot. We found the second salesman, as we could not find the third one, told him that we wanted the keys back to our SUV, and that we wanted to go look at a different dealership. He stated that he had to go find our salesman. We stepped outside to wait and noticed salesman number 2 sit at his desk and not once try to find our salesman. After about an hour salesman number 3 shows back up. He stated that they hadnt even ran our credit yet and to go look at the lot and write down the stock numbers of the vehicles that we were interested in under a certain amount of money. We wrote down about 9 different vehicles, all used. After that he finally went to the credit department, took around 45 minutes, then came back and told us that the only way we could get financed is if we purchased a new car. We were furious at this point. Never once did anyone ever look at our SUV, instead they parked it on the side of the building and let it sit there all day while they hung onto our keys making it impossible for us to leave. We both strongly agree that they held onto our keys and waited until 4:30 so that we wouldnt go to a different car lot and so that we felt that we absolutely had to purchase a new vehicle. Very bad business practices. We both had a horrible experience and do not recommend shopping here as the salesman are only out to sell new cars here. They are very pushy! BEWARE!

Went to talk to this dealership about trading my current vehicle in on a new car. I was greeted when I walked in the door and said who I wanted to talk to and the sales person hurried off to get them. The person I had talked to on the phone arrived shortly apologizing for taking so long and stated that he was on the phone. He introduced me to another sales person and said he would be taking care of me. First off thank you for handing me off to someone else and not taking the time to talk to me. I told the new person that I was interested in their "Your trade paid off no matter what you owe" promotion that was taking place. The new sales person instantly wanted to talk about the value of my trade in and insisted that he take my car for a "test drive". Hesitant I agreed and handed him the key. We drove across the parking lot out onto the road in front of the dealership and then back into the parking lot. upon returning I was told to meet him inside at the bank of computers inside the door and he would be right back in after he got some information off my vehicle. Once inside they scanned my drivers license and entered my information into there computer system. I was then informed that the sales manager was not available to appraise my vehicle because he was in a meeting but they would try and get him to look at it real quick. Almost 10 minutes later I see my car being driven off. I think OK they are getting the appraisal done. NO.. The sales person came back over and stated that his sales manager was not available still but he had his floor manager drive the vehicle and take notes to give to the other manager. He said as soon as the Sales manager got out of his meeting he would have him see what they could do. The sales person walked me back out to the car (which was parked almost sideways in a parking spot. This all took place while I was on my lunch (12-1:00) At 4:30 I called back to the dealership to see if they had any further information to be told that the sales person was busy and they would have him call me back.I called again at 5:30 and was hug up on. I finally received a call a at 5:46 (14 minutes before they closed) telling me that they still didnt have anything for me that the would let me know by no later than 10AM the next morning. Not happy i waited for them to call me back. At 9:58 the next morning I get a call from the dealership telling me that they would only be able to offer me $1500 for my car and that there were some serious problems with the suspension on it. First off the car has a blue book value of $4500. Secondly the vehicle has 155,000 mile on it its to going to ride like a Cadillac. I asked about the pay off your vehicle advertisement. The salesperson proceeds in telling me that they would be paying off the car. $1500 would be paid off and the remaining balance would be rolled to the new loan. Ok that is not paying off someones vehicle. I choose not to continue my purchase with them. I would steer clear of them if your vehicle isnt in tip top shape and you are planning on trading it in.

So my wife decided she wanted a different car. We had been to different places and test drove different cars, but she didnt like any she had test driven. We got online and went to autotrader and we found that autocenters nissan had a couple nissan altimas for a good price. We decided to go test drive one and see if she liked them. We took the test drive. Our salesman was not pushy at all, which we thought was great. My wife loved the altima, but didnt want this exact one. Even though the salesman told us that this exact car we testdrove had just came in overnight couldnt have been true because they had it listed with a picture on craigslist 2 days prior, we thought maybe he had just mistaken. I had told the salesman where i would get our loan from because i knew i could get a 1.74% rate from my personal bank. Well he brought us back the numbers for the car we testdrove and put us at a 12.99% interest rate without even running our credit( and we both have excellent credit ratings). and this $18000 car was going to cost us over $500 a month for 5 years. I was like wow, this is kind of shocking. Then i procede to see that theyre offering us $13000 for her car which on kelly blue book for trade in, it says $15800. They rated her 5 year old car in poor condition and i was shocked again. The car has 1 small ding on it, leather seats. no scratches. It may not be in perfect condition but on kelly blue book it showed $15800 for good condition. Thats not excellent or even very good condition.Thats just good condition. Not perfect, but not bad condition either. He then told me that they were going to talk to the dodge dealer next door to see if they would offer more for her car. So then I told the salesman who i wont mention his name that we would like to wait till this other altima came in because it was $1000 cheaper. He said he would call us as soon as it came in and they talked to the dodge dealer..He never called. I actually called him the next day to see what they had found out. He told me that he didnt know and he would have to check with his manager. The salesman never called back and I never called him back after that. I was just shocked that we found a type of car we liked and this salesman was definitely not pushy, but definitely didnt care about puting us in an 09 altima that they seem to have a lot of. After we left there, my wife was like wow! She was wondering why they didnt want to sell us a car and I honestly didnt have an answer for her. We felt like all the numbers they showed us and their lack of communication to us proved to us they didnt want our business. The good thing about being near st. louis is there is a lot of other dealerships that probably will treat us good and do want our business. I think I would rather spend a little extra money to feel like our money is going to good people who want to take care of us.
