I purchased a service package under the previous owners for oil changes and tire rotations. Something which I had done on several occasions in multiple states before. I have always been able to take in multiple vehicles at every other Buick dealership I have EVER done business with. It was an economic and stress free experience I came to expect when dealing with Buick; that was unfortunately until today. I called in advance to make an appointment, and informed them at the time of the appointment that I had sold the previous vehicle and that a new vehicle was being serviced. Again, I have been going to Buick dealerships exclusively for close to a decade now and have never had an issue. Alas all good things must come to an end, and after waiting for close to 40 minutes I was informed that the new owner would not honor the previous service contract unless it was the same vehicle. I am also not able to receive a refund for the service I was unable to collect. When speaking to the manger named Randy I was told that there was simply nothing he was going to do, that this issue was the fault of the previous owner. How sad that customer service has gone down so significantly that they are unwilling to honor an oil change, I can’t help but wonder what heck awaits anyone with an actual mechanical issue. I genuinely hope that this event is only associated with this location and not representative of Buick as a whole. I had never considered looking at another business for service until today and am extremely disappointed not only in the mangers customer service but also the overall passing off responsibility onto any and everyone else, ultimately leaving me out money and without service. They lost a customer today and I have to say I am extremely disappointed in how low Buick customer service has sunk.

Our daughter totaled our car about 5 weeks ago. Thank God she walked out of it just a bit bruised. Then you have to deal with juggling to get everyone to school and work and finding time to go out and buy a new car within your budget --- that hadnt included a totaled car. We finally ventured out a week ago and my husband suggested that we first stop at Oliver C Joseph which was very close to our home. I hate car shopping. Usually the Sales people are pushy and that drives me away. Trevor Pinkston waited on us. He was not pushy but helpful and I liked him because he didnt put on pretenses. He seemed genuine. We knew that we wanted an SUV, not more than a certain amount of miles, not more than a certain price and I have to confess hopefully a certain color. There was a car that we were looking at but it wasnt my pick of color and we were just looking for today or so I thought... We didnt want to test drive it as we had a million other places to look at. I was in a hurry to go and put myself through my favorite thing in the world which is car shopping! Trevor asked us to come inside and give them some information so they could let us know if some other vehicles came in. Brad Joseph started talking to us about what people really want when they go car shopping. The car we were looking at was listed at $16,500.00. He asked me if Id buy the car if he sold it to us for $5,000.00! I asked him if he was serious. He was and we got a $16,000 car for $5,000! He said that the bottom line was price. I want to encourage anyone who feels like I do to go to Oliver C. Joseph! You probably wont get a car for what we did but I believe they will give you the best price thats possible. I am very grateful for what they did for us! Debby Mueth

Long story short: They are not perfect but they make things right! Long story: My sales person was Matt(great young man) I live in Indiana about 5 hours away and saw a good deal on a Yukon that was just posted that day without pictures. So I called, they sent me photos, I made on offer, they accepted the offer, I offered to put $ down but they told me not to worry about it. The next day while I was driving there (i was told someone called and made a full price offer and they said it was sold) they did the inspection found it needed a fuel pump and they replaced it (I ended up waiting a while but worth it). I was pulling out of the lot to start my long drive home when the radio/gps turned off and volume stopped working and since we agreed on a fully functioning vehicle i turned around and showed them. They sent me home (5 hours away) in a nice loaner, agreed to deliver the Yukon to me and replace the very expensive radio. It took almost 3 weeks to take possession of the Yukon but well worth the wait. When the vehicle was delivered it was missing a set of headphones so i called and they mailed me the set. All in all its a great dealership, if there is one thing they can work on it would be communication, I had to constantly call to find out the status of things BUT at the end of the day it was a happy ending!

Everything was great until we left the parking lot. After signing the papers and leaving the lot one thing after another seemed to go wrong. They messed up our papers had to come back to sign them, then called to tell us parts were in for the car and never was told before leaving with it that service was needed. Took 2 weeks of repeatedly calling to get any answers. Was told it needed 4 new tires, schedule the service to get there and they again werent sure what it needed. Then call and say it needed 2 new tires and all new brakes on the front but they couldnt get the brakes done in the 9 hours they had the car that day. Bring it back the following week. They resurface the rotors and put on new brake pads. Not exactly the same as all new brakes. Ever since leaving with the new tires the car is in desperate need of an alignment. Was promised a week and a half ago I would get a call back to see what they can do and still have yet to hear from them. Save yourself the headache. Buy elsewhere!

During a safety recall, Oliver C Joseph was fast and efficient with scheduling my service and explaining what was going on. Tim S. was great when he processed my order and also again when he set me up with a loaner. As a terrible coincidence, I was involved in an accident while on my way to return the vehicle; another car hit me as I was making a legal turn. The collision did quite a number to their car. I feel terrible that they have one fewer loaner car in their fleet. Again, I worked with Tim S. and Mr. Brad Joseph got involved. When it was all said and done, they got possession of their car (towed to a body shop they work with) and they got me the keys to my car. The automotive sales and service industry is difficult (Im sure). It seems that Oliver C Joseph did their best to help me out in this case.
