Terrible terrible terrible experience. Bought a washer/dryer Tuesday. Told the salesperson I need stackable, but he forgot to add a "stacking kit" to my order. Called customer service (had to call THREE TIMES - once they just hung up on me after I had spent about 15 minutes explaining my issue) Wednesday to add the stacking kit for Thursday delivery. Spent 90 MINUTES on the calls. Thought a person in the actual appliance department at Woodfield Sears (as opposed to a service center I got one time where I could barely understand the person) had FINALLY added the kit to my order. It took about half an hour. Thursday when the delivery men finally got to my home (they called FOUR TIMES to get directions to my house, said they werent familiar with my neighborhood and said they didnt know which way north was), of course there was no stacking kit. Delivery men insisted I had to take delivery of the washer and dryer and could NOT remove my old ones, so the washer/dryer are stuck in the middle of my hallway. Not connected. I asked the delivery service for Sunday delivery of the stacking kit and hookup of the appliances. Got a call last night asking me to confirm Saturday delivery. SATURDAY??? The only 2 choices they gave me did not include that I wanted to change the delivery date. I then tried to call the Woodfield store directly (they were open), but was transferred somewhere where it rang about 10 times and then they disconnected/hung up on me. So maybe theyll show up tomorrow. But I wont be here to let them in. Will I ever get my appliances connected and out of my hallway? I dont know, but I for sure know I will not get the hours of my life back that this has taken and my aggravation and frustration levels are through the roof. Do NOT use Sears for any appliance purchases unless you have lots of free time on your hands and dont really care when they will be delivered. I will NEVER shop at Sears for ANYTHING EVER AGAIN.

We had a Sears repair person come to our house to repair our washing machine. It was the worst home repair service Ive ever ever experienced. They should be embarrassed of there unprofessionalism. They showed up at our house and the first thing the guy said it was going to me more than they quoted over the phone. This was before they even looked at the washer. They said they tried to call us but they had the previous home owners information. Weve lived in our house for 10 years and we gave them our info when we called and even told them they had the incorrect info. They originally offered us a $2.99 repair with a warranty that would cover other stuff on the washier but because we didnt agree to that prior to the repair guy showing up they wouldnt give it to us. My wife called the company while the guy waited but we were on hold waiting for a supervisor so long he just left. We didnt get our washier fixed and while we are on hold we got disconnected and no one ever called us back.

The store is neat and the staff friendly. Also, for a mall the checkout lines are not too bad and prices reasonable too. So why only 2 stars? Every time I go there and purchase something, when they remove the security tag at the register I find that the clothing is damaged... Water proof boots have the tag punched through the sidewall instead of through an eyelet. Rain proof hiking pants have the tag punched through the waist band and when the tag is removed, a whole is reveled with unraveling threads... etc, etc, etc. The store staff just goes overboard, damaging everything with security tags... If the staff cared about selling merchandise as much as they do about protecting it, perhaps they would take a little more care when installing and removing these security tags... Just saying.

Rude and not customer friendly. Went for a brake inspection and it says "Free" on the website. Did an online appointment and when I went there I was told that it will cost $15.00 - I said your website says its free. The agent insisted that they dont do it for free and then couple of minutes later he said "Ok, we will do it for free" as if I am begging for it and standing there. Dropped my car and got a call after 2 hours saying that the "Breaks are good" but the break rotar is little worn out. Went back to store to pick up the car and asked the agent "what is a rotar" - he said you can google it. That was rude - just got my keys and walked off. No wonder why Sears are loosing business. Will never go back again.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have made 2 purchases in the past year at this store 1) washing machine 2) grill. Not only did the promotions these large ticket items were on get screwed up BOTH times. I have made multiple calls to the store - NO ONE ever picks up. I have left multiple voice mails asking to be called back. I chatted with an associate online who connected me with an in store associate who was unable to pull up my order via order number, last name or phone number. A manager was to call me back in 15 minutes - it is now 3 hours later. I am extremely disappointed in this store and will be cancelling my order. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service.

I came for help - one of my tool which I had bought at Sears with lifetime warranty broke - guy at front desk was very rude and said he cannot help me because he cannot find me in the computer ! I asked to speak with the manager - he called for him and left me there alone - he walked away ! And I was waiting 50minutes - nobody came so I left. I would never go back to this sears store ! the worst customer service ever ! I do not recommend it to anybody

Be aware of this place. They sold me dishwasher than they brake it in the store and they said to contact to manufacture for repair they didnt offer me any discount or replacing it whit another one just return or to contact manufacture pay them for coming and fixing it. Ridiculous . The manager he asked his guy what is this thing and he said is called dish washer. Lol these guys are awful

Store needs to price match their own online price...not convenient for the costumer to wait another 20 min to get the item that they already have in their hand!!! I understand that the store is trying to promote online shopping but should be an exception when the costumer is already in the store and picked all their items and brought them to the cashier
