I went into this location because they usually have a good selection of items on their clearance table. I just so happen to find a Sakroots ereader cover (Ive been looking for one for awhile) so I grabbed it up and walked on to the back to look at the clearance table. Out of nowhere a woman approached me and started questioning me "Are you finding every thing ok?" (I said "yeah") Then "Can I help you find anything in particular?" (I said "no"). By this time Im wondering how she managed to walk by the 15 to 20 people all the way in the front of the store JUST TO HELP ME? She was looking at my hand to see what I had, then asked if I had a rewards membership (I said "no"). She goes to the front...after a bit she reappears and literally signs me up, she has yet to approach anyone else. This time, she inspected what I had in my hand and began inquiring about it. All the while Im thinking "Wth? Ummmm, why are you bothering me?" Then she goes back to the front of the store...not once stopping to help any of the 20 to 30 people who are now in the store. I felt really weird and uncomfortable after that. Then I looked up and saw an attractive blond woman walking around and pretending to look for something in my immediate vicinity. I was thinking "youve got to be kidding me?". I realized what they were doing...I was being profiled. These people were racially profiling me. I was the only African American in the entire store! I was the only one approached to receive this special "customer care." I later found out the attractive blond, pretending to inspect things in my immediate vicinity, was the MANAGER! Btw, her response to me when I made a very quiet complaint (some people would have went off) was "Im so sorry you were made to feel that way. Ill look into it." Im thinking "seriously lady??" Im a BioChem major, minoring in Economics, yet getting profiled by some shoe reps??...I left the store (after purchasing the ereader cover) feeling like garbage. Btw, I later called the customer service number on the receipt to see if they had me listed yet as a rewards member..........N.O.T.H.I.N.G! Perhaps it takes awhile for it to show up in their system, but I honestly dont expect anything to ever show up because her goal wasnt to provide customer service...it was to make sure I didnt steal.

Monday 1pm, the store isnt crowded at all, but theres only 1 checkout person and shes helping a woman find some shoes online. OK, that happens. After several minutes another sales person comes behind the counter and speaks to a gentleman who was waiting for something, then he comes out from behind the counter and does stocking. Then another sales person comes and takes a call. Its now been 8 minutes, no acknowledgement from any of the 3, so I left. Never had this problem at DSW before, but I didnt have the time or inclination to hang out...

The place is alright. Nice location, right next to Woodfield Mall. To me, it wasnt the best, i was looking for Converse to buy, i nearly looked through the whole city and found nothing. My last spot was here. They have a very small limited guy section, but it would be great for someone else, not myself.

I purposely drive all the way from Joliet to go to this location. I can never find the shoes that Im looking for at the Joliet location. Also, the people are much more professional at the Woodfield Mall location. The girls were very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect work sneakers I needed.

They didnt have the style I wanted in my size but they were able to order it to be sent to my house with free shipping and still accepted the coupon I had, so pretty good proactive service. The downfall to this place is the prices, as usually you can find the same items cheaper elsewhere.

Good place to find some good deals on nice shoes. Its crowded. It gets a bit hectic but they do have a good selection. The place is a bit disordered but I feel its due to all the traffic this place gets. Nonetheless, the staff is helpful and friendly.

An endless supply of shoes for everyone. When they didnt have the shoe I wanted in my size, they were able to order it for me and have it shipped for free directly to my home and still at sale prices!

Im not a fan of stores that allow you to shop for childrens shoes online and not have them in store. Ill change my review after the childrens section is put in the store after Spring 2017.

Very good selection of mens shoes at reasonable prices. My first choice for dress or casual shoes. Excellent brands, but narrow range of size selection for some of the designs.
