Used to be a great place to go to but dont let the remodel fool you...traded knowledgeable folks for a remodeled store. Took some nice air tools that I no longer needed to see if they were interested in buying them. I could tell right off the bat that the person helping me knew just enough to "get by" there in tools. That comes from someone thats been out of the industry (auto repair) for 15 years. Took them back to "test" them (I was not allowed to go), took ten minutes to test three air tools and said all three had air leaks at the air connector and I promptly took them home to verify this. Anyone who has ever used an air tool knows that you take care of your stuff and I asked to see if their connector that they were using and if it was leaking (refused my request). I asked at what pressure did you test them at (most folks know 90 psi is the benchmark for most air tools); couldnt say what pressure they used...just said they had an air compressor in back. I tested them before taking them there and also took the time to clean them up as even at a place like this I dont want to sell someone junk. Supposedly all three tools were "leaking" but the counterperson could not say exactly where when asked. Offered to let me talk to the other person that "tested" them but when I asked to see them the counterperson shut down and talked like they were reading from a script. I get you might not want the tools but dont feed a lie and tell me there is something wrong with them...just tell me you dont want them. I can take someone being honest and these were not cheap air tools; nothing against those either as they work great for me too. On the upside, they have nice stuff but apparently have purchased WAY more than they can sell. Im not in the business myself, but I have yet to see someone there that has REAL experience in buying and selling ANYTHING unless it is a playstation or a HDTV and I was the oldest person there by a few years and I still work a straight 40 a week. My advice...build a reputation by just being honest and know the product and industry. Brought the tools home and tested all three and there were no leaks and they will continue to work for me as I need them.

Ive never really had any issues until today! Ive done business with them quite frequently over the past few years, and its always been on the Up & Up. Today Im in a really bad bind so I brought in a Pioneer home theater system still "Brand New" in the manufacturer packaging to "Pawn"not "Sell", he tells me that he needs a receipt for the items. This was a Christmas Gift, that was delivered by UPS. Needless to say I had no sales receipt, however I did have the shipping invoice still sealed in the plastic with my NAME and ADDRESS on it from Best Buy! Not to mention Ive done a lot of business with them, so they know who I am! As soon as I get my items out of there that are still there, Im done with them. Treating a Good and Frequent Customer like they are some kind of Shady Criminal is no way to do business. I can see why this place has so many low reviews.

Buying here is pretty good. Have a wide selection at fair prices and are pretty open to negotiating on almost everything. However trying to pawn or sell something here is laughable. They look it up on ebay and offer the lowest price they can find. Will give you hardly anything for electronics because they have so much of it. If you try to negotiate when selling/pawning they get insulted or laugh you out of the place. Customer service all over the place. Have a couple of nice employees then you have the uneducated or uncaring ones. Get mad when you tell them you are just browsing.

I bought a lawn mower there and was assured that it ran fine (and that if it didnt I could return it and my receipt for a refund. When the mower turned out to be faulty they would not give my money back. They would only refer me to a repair shop where I could get the mower fixed. It was only after paying out of pocket for the repairs and making another visit to their store with my both my sales receipt and repair receipt in hand that they gave me back 80% of what I paid to repair the mower.

If you want to buy some used goods at nearly full price this is your place. They always low ball me on anything I sell and if the guys buying stuff dont even know what it is you got they wont even buy it or quote you a price way too low. I ended up selling my stuff on craigslist and made triple what they would have gave me.

Did a lot of business with them in the last year. Not no more! Last time I was down there, they told me they didnt have room for anything. As much money as that place gets off me just about every month, ya think they could just push it up under the damn counter or something.

they were extremely rude even tried to lie to me about how much my item was worth even and became even more obscene when i showed proof of how much it was worth and showed that was how the item was susposed to look also they refused to take back a item that didnt work

Ive never bought anything there, but Ive been there a few times. The prices on instruments are good. The gun prices seem fair. Some of the tools seemed overpriced, considering most of them are well used.

This place has got some of the trashiest employees in the entire city. Dont even test their merchandise so when something breaks... and it will... good luck getting a refund by way of store credit.
