When the headlines read "CEO Alexander Smith makes tough calls to bring magic back to Pier 1"~ then I think Fathers Day weekend is a good time to offer a review of Pier 1 Imports on Richmond Road. Pier 1 is adjacent to Micheals which is adjacent to Aldi. And ITs here where the magic manifested! What I witnessed was the Aldebaran eye of the bull peer at the *Vee between the signage of Pier One Imports >*

At the Mchenry store 3pm today Labor Day, I saw some regular priced baskets. I needed 5. The sign indicated All Baskets 20% off. One of the baskets also had a tag attached to it with 20% off. When I was checking out,, the male clerk indicated the sale was for August and had expired. I told him the sale signs were still up and the basket had a tag. The female manager (I assumed) told the clerk only the basket with the tag attached is 20% off; "Pier 1 policy". The clerk graciously gave me a sale flyer starting tomorrow for 20% off regular priced merchandise. I left without the baskets. I drove to the Algonquin store. I was informed all merchandise in the store was 20% off today for Labor Day. I purchased 4 baskets at 20% but still have to make another trip to get a 5th at another store. A lot of inconvenience and hard feelings, and should have received a discount for Labor Day anyway!

Weve been looking everywhere for high quality hand blown margarita glasses, and finally found some here! The woman working was very helpful with helping us locate what we were looking for and was very friendly. Id never been in this store before, but will definitely be back. I loved a lot of the things they had in the store, though it is on the pricey side.
