Let me preface this review by saying Im NOT the type of person to write reviews when I had a bad experience at a store. I completely understand that no one is perfect. In fact this if the first bad review I have ever written and may even be the last. I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. I took a 30 minute trip to check out this store because I love visiting comic shops that Ive never been to before. My visit started off on a bad foot because I asked the employee (im pretty sure it was the manager) if I could use their bathroom because I had just been in the car for a half hour. He replied by saying that they dont have one (which is ridiculous because obviously they do he just didnt want me to use it). The comic shops I frequent have NO PROBLEM letting customers use their bathrooms. Its just good customer service. Next during my entire visit the manager was criticizing his employee for the way the books were displayed on the shelf. I found it very distasteful to do so especially in front of customers. Then when I was ready to pay, the manager was doing something else and he didnt stop to take care of me. I had to wait several minutes for him to ring me up (Im generally not impatient but I was in a bit of a hurry). That was all disappointing, but I can look past most of it. The worst thing about the trip presented itself when I got home. I bought a Marvel Select action figure for $20 (standard new in box price), but when I went to open it I realized it was all scotch taped from the inside so you couldnt tell. When I pulled the plastic clam shell off of the cardboard backing it was reattached but had clearly been previously opened! THE MANAGER SOLD IT TO ME LIKE IT WAS NEW AND FOR A NEW IN BOX PRICE!!! Unbelievable. If they were honest and made that clear I still may have bought it but NOT for $20. That is extremely misleading dishonest and the primary factor that pushed me to write this review. Pulling tricks like that is just BAD BAD BUSINESS. Anyway I will definitely not give that store my money ever again. Too bad.

I am a new parents with a baby girl and my daughter and I come to the store for comics every Wednesday since we recently moved to the area. The staff are more then nice to us my girls going through that faze where she wants to grab everything and the staff has been understanding and wonderful. Today I finally found a minute to go get comics and sadly upon arrival I found that my daughter had fallen asleep in her car seat and the cashier let me pay from my car and brought me out my comics so I didnt have to wake up my baby to come inside. This is a great store staffed by good people and that is something truly hard to find these days.

Ive been shopping at this store since 2002 (at previous location) and have never been disappointed. Even when I cant get there for months on end my pull list is there for me. When any mistakes are made they take care of it immediately! The owner and employees have always been polite and extremely helpful with any questions I might have. Also, they have just about everything! It is always worth the trip to visit this shop.

Very large selection for such a small store. Most of the employees there are welcoming, and offer assistance handily without being overbearing. I happily drive out of my way to come here to purchase comics without complaint.
